Quiet Keyboard

My wife hates the sound of my keys. I am looking for a cordless ergonomic keyboard with quiet keys. Hopefully that doesn't break the bank.

you checked out the Microsoft bluetooth keyboard ?
Not sure if this is a ergonomic one , they do have other models a non mechanical one will probably be cheaper too

Avoid mechanical keyboards as they click pretty loud. I would probably try to find one with the shortest travel distance of the key.

I suspect I would drive your wife crazy. I love my mechanical keyboards. I need the tactile key resistance and love the click-clacks it makes.

The ones I have are Cooler Master Devestator 3s .
Still noise , but quieter than others .
Also , Razer makes some excellent ones .
Expensive , but worth it.
Shop around.

Wives are never satisfied .
That's what they do .
I got rid of 90% of the noise , now it's the lights.
I have drawn the line there.

I'm the same.

Quiet ones are nice but the clickety clack makes me feel in control of what I'm typing.

Me being in sarcastic b**** mode says buy whatever keyboard you want and a set of noise dampening headphones, and then give her the headphones as you show her the keyboard and introduce it as your keyboard's "silent mode".

Just slowly but surely add more white noise to the environment ...or even just sneaking the volume of a TV or radio up slowly until you get your buffer. It works like a charm and is seldom noticed if done gradually lol!

A holographic projected keyboard. I was going to purchase for use in my flight sim setup but got busy with other ideas. About 75 dollars

I keep seeing they are harder to use with lights on and not that responsive. I dont have room for it either.

Yeah, I'm not most women. If someone did that to their wife what I suggested, she'd be upset. I might ask why it didn't have audio capability.

I have a office I am relegated to for gaming activities for such reasons lol. Your are right that you aren't most women though...I'd have a beer with you any day!
