this is picking up steam, www.facebook.com... over 700,000 followers on facebook, all the highway overpasses in Toronto and north were packed with supporters, my mom shed a tear on her way passed. I think a lot of people are over our crazy lockdowns, especially since we have such a high vaccination rate. this convoy is just picking up all of the pent up frustration with our government. hopefully is packed and peaceful in Ottawa on Saturday.

This is big...been watching the feeds all day. Princess is self-isolating because Ottawa will be a parking lot by Saturday.

Fellow Americans - we need to take note of how this is being done. No violence, just simple civil disobedience and making ourselves ungovernable.

You’re a little late. This has had steam for a week. The first Facebook group had 650k followers before it shutdown earlier this week.

There’s been a concerted effort to downplay this or black it out entirely so I’m not surprised some people are only just becoming aware.

Unfortunately it will only take a few wing nuts to give Trudeau what he needs to spin this as a "terrorist" event and use the full force of gov't to shut it down. I really hope that they do not fall into the trap he has set and keep it peaceful. The only one who benefits from n out of control mob scene is that fool hiding in Ottawa...sa reply to: JinMI

OPP reported less than 400 total vehicles crossing from Manitoba into Ontario. 115 commercial transport trucks and about 250 personal vehicles. It's actually several smaller convoys rather than one large convoy. There's a group coming from eastern Canada and Quebec, and a group coming from Sarnia and Windsor. All together less than 2000 vehicles, mostly personal vehicles, are expected to show up in Ottawa, to protest in front of an empty parliament building, in January.

The organizing group has raised almost $8 million to help support the truckers, about 100,000 individual donations.
Seems to be a lot of support all over for this protest. People are sick and tired of all the lockdowns and mandates and this protest is giving them some hope that there is unified opposition. I gotta give it to all the people braving the cold weather

Massive Truck Convoy Heading to Washington After Ottawa
January 29, 2022

American truckers protesting against vaccine mandates and government overreach have been joining a record-breaking Canadian convoy of tens of thousands of vehicles headed to Ottawa.

Brian Von D, the administrator at “Convoy to DC 2022” announced that they will “join forces” to ride from California to Washington, adding that “America is next.”

“As [the Canadian convoy] moved from the west to the east, [the American truckers] have been filtering into this convoy, and it is absolutely massive. It is known worldwide, it is the largest thus far,” he said in a live video on Facebook.

Tens of thousands of vehicles were reported to have departed from all parts of Canada. (...)

Star for you my friend - this is exactly what the world needs right now. Simple civil disobedience & making ourselves ungovernable. Couldn't have said it better in a thousand years, right on point there.

Here's hoping that the rest of the world takes note of exactly what's unfolding in Canada - not only the protests, and the heart warming support for the protests, but also a critical look at the tactics of the conspirators, so brazenly on display:

Roadblocks, BS fake isolation of the Prime Minister, censorship at a massive scale on social media, fake news reports, deleted comments in support of the convoy.

All the dirty tricks of the political goons..

It's crucial that we observe carefully & find ways to surmount their BS in any future protests elsewhere in the world.

Also that we learn from mistakes - better footage of the convoy should have been created at the outset so that it went viral in a huge way. We need drones up in the air taking long eposure shots of the convoy & its supreme length in comparison to anything anyone's ever seen before. It's an earthshaking protest, they needed better coverage of it to post on social media & on info sharing services like Telegram, to really get the word out in a powerful way.

Everything we ever thought we knew about the supposed freedom of our nations has been upturned & made obscene by their utterly disgusting drivel attacking liberty-loving people in such underhanded ways.

Holy #, they just went nuclear!

Hoping that somehow the people retain the will to fight as a member of the convoy & support the truckers, to line the roads & simply refuse to pay the fines...

I can't believe how brazen that application of emergency powers is. They got their asses kicked by the people, so they went full nuclear & made that one specific form of civil disobedience unlawful! Transparent! Unbelievable.

Thank you SO Much for these Canadian Trucker threads!!! I just started clicking last nite just a wee bit but
today I started watching & tears came to me eyes! This is one of the most important credible events we may
see in our life time, people of all walks of life finally coming together & uniting for our rights.

The whole world is watching & now many more countries are starting their own Freedom Trucker Convoys.
I am looking forward to the one in the USA!!! I am only about 2 to 2:30 away from DC, I won't go to DC but I will be on the side of the road in a great location to be supportive & recruiting as many people possible!
