Indeed. The old cliche about "It's about oil!" is silly.
It's rather about the market for the Earth's farts. Some people dont want to remember that oil traded negative during Trump. A bit more import tariffs on China and they'll fall apart like the crap they sell.
Let's match their troops at the border. Ukraine should be allowed into EU because why not. EU sucks anyway. Ukraine has nice woods and cheap dentists. NATO membership would be unnecessary formality. They need to prosper and buy themselves a proper military equipment
