Trump was elected on a platform of bringing troops home and ending foreign wars. He wasn't hard on Russia, he was elected on a platform of non-intervention, it's why he didn't send troops to "liberate" the Crimea from Russia, and why he didn't send troops into Ukraine during his presidency.

Trump understood that America didn't need to respond to everything by doing nothing or by absolute overkill. He understood nuance and negotiation, and middle ground. And when Bidden suggests something similar you attack him for it even though he's essentially just repeating Trump's policies.

I swear, if you're not in the tank for the globalists and the New American Century BS you're carrying water for the arms manufacturers.

Ukraine might be a fine country. But it serves no strategic value to us, and has total strategic value to Russia

Can someone explain the oversized burr Democrats have up their rear end with regard to Russia?

They (their MIC overlords, really) have been itching with a war with Russia ever since they overthrew the pro Kremlin Ukrainian government under Obama. They are worse than the neo-cons. At least neo-cons pick on countries that can’t defend themselves

But a modern military? We should only tackle something like that over something that threatens our sovereignty. It is insanity, Russia will not hesitate to nuke us back into the Stone Age over this. Much like Cuba in the 60s, our presence on their border would represent an existential threat. Under Russian nuclear doctrine, this is one of the few cases that would allow a surprise first strike

I’ll take my kids out of the country before they fight in a meaningless war for an empty suit commander of an illegitimate government.
