The aliens need no software to monitor these sites. Since the Net is growing large, more aliens will be interested in contact with people.

On my home planet, Zos-Vos, we have very distinct occupations. Therefore, I don't know about propulsion systems or anything scientific. I was a social worker on my planet, and on Earth, I was a teacher. I am retired now.
Zos-Vos is in the Sirius System. There are Greys there, but also other kinds of ETs as well.
There are MANY KINDS of ETs visiting Earth. There are so many, that I can't keep track of all of them. Neither can my fellow Greys.

I think its fair to say, putting all of it's useful facets aside, the internet is a heavily monitored and to a degree controlling entity and a nice training ground for perpetual governments / non gov & everything above and beyond to use gain info about its inhabitants.
Gaining info is the easiest of all tasks on the net. Sites like this are a goldmine should govt's want to 'test the waters' on something,say UFO related.
Should ET be around, sure he/she/it would surf. Too easy on so many levels for a supposed species that has mastered intestellar travel to obtain other information that their 'long distance sensor's" can't.

I mean one example I can recal here was EverLastingNoItAll - New Member with interesting situation thread. (Can someone please locate the link).
Nothing personal about the guy, but essentially he may have made the discovery of all time - yet where is he know? I believe he was just seeing how people would take to such a revelation - and left.
There would be countless instance like this on varied sites.

I guess its the Human Information Centre for galactic visitors.
