Build Back Better

The 4th Industrial Revolution

Transhumanism

Is this conspiracy? NO. It is well out in the open. This is the goal of so many of our technocratic overlords. This is the reason for much of the covid procedures, to usher in qr passes etc. etc.

This is ATS, I shouldn't have to expound on this much further.

Some may think this is great and will benefit humanity greatly. Others think its a trap.

Speaking of traps and star wars, in the prequel trilogy, there is a technocratic guild that is in league with Palpatine to overthrow the republic. Sound familiar? It should because the prequel trilogy is a most apt allegory for what is happening now, which is just a repeat of history, and George being a student of the great story understood this well. Unfortunately he lost the greatness in star wars, by trying to tell this story.

Oh and what happened to that guild when they weren't useful anymore? Light Saber to the dome.

Anyway, I was just browsing, and came across this thread www.abovetopsecret.com... about Meta trying to merge with the church.

This brought up in my mind what I believe to be one of the best book series I've read, that explores the idea of humanity and what it means with the merger of tech, and our evolution.

A Requiem for Homo Sapiens is a trilogy of science fiction novels by American writer David Zindell, made up of The Broken God (1992), The Wild (1995), and War in Heaven (1998). The trilogy is a sequel to the standalone novel Neverness (1988).[1]

The series has been described as containing "some of the most striking writing, vivid spectacles, memorable characters, and insightful presentations of philosophy and religion seen in SF for many a year."[2] David Langford commented on similarities between the trilogy's hero Danlo and Paul Atreides, protagonist of Frank Herbert's Dune.[3]

Meta and the church and the transhumanism scenario envisoned by Schwab and other psychopaths are dealt with in depth in this. Including them trying to imprison you for eternity by uploading your soul into their Meta.

Its so much more than that, incredible story, so much depth.

Cant stop progress else our civilisation will stagnate and die on the vine.

The technological singularity is in the post for the better or worse of the matter.

Humanities purpose aside from reproduction of our race may well be to spawn Humanity 2.0.

Hopefully with a lot less biological frailties, improved longevity, and build in redundancies.

And the ability to comprehend and learn from past historical transgressions might not go amiss nether.

Excellent food for thought. I think you're right on many points.

Though it is playing out in the open, right before our eyes, it is the result of a conspiracy. Men and women conspired many years ago in order for this to play out.

Plenty of books that attempt to entertain the possibilities where transhumanism and the technological singularity are concerned.

Im in the middle of A. G. Riddle's "Atlantis Trilogy" right now but i might give them a go at some point.

Do you know if the trilogy is available as ePub or .Lit format?

Totally. Hyperion cantos has a good take on it also. A positive and negative view.

For me it’s about health and freedom. If people want to willingly integrate themselves I don’t care.

To force or coerce or eliminate those from society who don’t want their system is where the problem lies. And where we are at. This isn’t going to be optional.

Also it’s not going to be good. The idea that we can successfully integrate tech without massive damage is naive.

We are at best in the adolescent stage of tech.

Let’s take crispr as an example. Though it’s not technically computer integration it is touted as having massive potential to alter the course of humanity.

Except it fails 15% of the time. It’s probably far higher than that.

Wanna get groceries? Gotta have your implant. Ok I’ve gotta eat. Whoops you’re one of the 15% that does from failure.

I disagree it is a guarantee for us. That is the narrative of the technocrats. We absolutely don’t have to reach some imaginary singularity.

Our biology isn’t compatible with many tech things. Like emfs.

I’m not sure if the books are digital. I’m a paper person myself.

Maybe in the US, but in much of the rest of the world religion and poverty makes this highly unlikely.

Can't make an omelette without breaking eggs, meaning its impossible to achieve something important without there being some bad effects.

Great change requires sacrifice and more often than not blood in spades.

Paper is nice, but its also antiquated, kills trees and is somewhat less portable a means of information than its digital counterpart.

As to our biology, it limits our longevity and intellect.

Where genetic engineering is concerned, it is indeed in its infancy, but so where computers less than 75 years ago.

Put it this way Extremistcontent without technology we would not be having this conversation.

Cheers for the info all the same.

That's presuming that your vision for advancement is physical, not cultural or spiritual.

There are a lot of people out there in the world who would say that our ultimate goal as a society should be to human civilization to a level where everyone's basic needs can be met with the minimum of personal effort, so that people can devote the majority of their lives to things that are more personally fulfilling, like art or music, or to making scientific discoveries. Or whatever floats their personal boat.

You could use science to make humans live to be hundreds of years old, but for a lot of people that would mean hundreds of years sitting behind the register at Walmart making just enough money to live miserably for hundreds of years in a damp apartment.

Break some eggs? I hope you’re the first to volunteer.

That is a terrible outlook. You need to get some therapy.

Wtf

Personally i dont think i will have much to do with it AaarghZombies.

Sounds like a lot of these people are describing a utopia.

That wont work down to the fact that we are such an imperfect animal in our present condition biologically, spiritually and culturally speaking.

We can use science for a lot of things like getting off this rock for instance, as to people living for hundreds of years, that depends on whither or not or minds are up to the task.

Technology will possibly help us augment ourselves so we might be up to the job.

Manners ? How about you stop suggesting it’s ok for a large percentage of the worlds population be maimed or killed in the name of progress. You sound like the technocrats. Or Stalin.

Those eggs are people’s lives.

So far, most of these kind of visions have fallen down because a small number of people have decided two things 1) That they deserve more than everybody else, and 2) That anybody stupid enough to fall for whatever con they are running deserves to lose out.

It's less about humans being imperfect, and more about some people being greedy and not caring who they hurt.

Its all about the human condition and the paradigm we have followed throughout recorded history.

People are not equal you see, but that does not mean that we should not strive towards a measure of equality for all.

So now im Stalin. LoL

Yes telling people there outlook is terrible and suggesting they require therapy is ether bad mannered or projection, so take your pick.

As to large percentages of the worlds population be maimed or killed, do you mean like the endless wars over imaginary lines on maps, petty religious indifference and ever diminishing resources that have happened throughout history per-chance?

that reply was meant for me not aaargh.

So you are against war killing people, but are ok with "science" killing people?

Ever diminishing resources? Ah there it is. The rationalization for eugenics/genocide. EVERY TIME.

Good thing you're one of the good ones who will make the cut. LOL. night of the long knives.

no species is forever, one way or another they evolve into something else and our evolutionary path will be directed by technology eventually unless something really bad happens and we go extinct first.
