Noncitizens can now vote in some places

NEW YORK (AP) — More than 800,000 noncitizens and “Dreamers” in New York City will have access to the ballot box — and could vote in municipal elections as early as next year — after Mayor Eric Adams allowed legislation to automatically become law Sunday. Opponents have vowed to challenge the new law, which the City Council approved a month ago. Unless a judge halts its implementation, New York City is the first major U.S. city to grant widespread municipal voting rights to noncitizens.

Not sure what the benefit is to be a citizen, seems like noncitizens are getting every benefit in the book.
This is a next level of crazy and I’m speechless.

Last I looked they already were...
Now they just have to vote for it to be legal.

So, technically, if enough NON-citizens vote...they can vote to exclude LEGAL citizens' votes.

So "citizens" NEED to be vaccinated to do basic #

"non citizens" DO NOT NEED to be vaccinated and they get the right to vote etc

Our gov has learned the only way to do what they want is to open the borders and bring in foreigners to vote for their bad ideas and candidates because Americans arent stupid enough to fall for it anymore.

This is like Federal Election Reform where we need to act now because our elections are in danger just after we had the Gooderest Fairerest and Most Saferest Election EVAR!

But of course we all know that it had to be wrong because Uncle Joe should have carried 99.9% of all the vote everywhere, and since he didn't, then the election was obviously terribly in danger.

places that allow non citizens to vote, should be banned from voting for Presidents, or any other federal office.

Since non citizens aren't registered what stops a complete attack by way of fraudulent ballots ?

I have friends who make fake id's, fake bank statements, fake bank stamps (necessary for the fake onlinebank statements to be accepted)(sometimes steal the bank stamps from the bank and other times use really good photo shop techniques to make it look stamped), fake employment records and burner phones, and take out multi thousand dollar payday loans - ongoing, traveling city to city - running the same con over and over at money mart, and other pay day loan places.

that's A LOT more complex than what someone would have to do to abuse this new voting law. Non citizens voting opens the door for fraudulent ballots. This is a doorway to immense fraud. It's not just opening the door to non citizens, it's opening the door to fabricated voters.

If we do non US citizens can vote, why can't the mail in from overseas? Lol we are doomed
