Why interfere with a much stronger enemy when he is destroying himself from the inside?

It makes zero sense for Iran to attack the United States after openly declaring to do so.

It does however align with the interests of the military industrial complex and other assorted 'defense contractors'.

Last week I heard that hundreds of thousands had crossed the southern border into the USA during the month of December 2021. Of those caught and/or detained, they were from 60 different countries. Last time I checked, Mexico is 1...ONE country in North America. South America has 12 countries. So......where are all these people coming from?

I know it's still not even close to 60, but you forgot about the 7 countries in Central America and 13 in the Caribbean

Maybe he's not even talking about any sort of actual attack from any outsiders, but he just likes what he's been seeing as far as the division within our Country.

That, & I think we're on far thinner ice with our own allies than advertised. That bungled Afghan withdrawal sort of highlighted how little we're taken seriously anymore.

Something as simple as an effective ddos attack on fakebook could count as "within the homes."
Or maybe a power grid attack,which would be very serious if widespread.

I was thinking cyber attack, too. Electricity grid, etc.
