That's amazing. And very scary. Water is insidious.

If we were a frog, I suspect that our water is just starting to come to a boil.

With climate change, yes, there will be places that will not be or will be less habitable. But other places will become livable that were not.

The problem is people shifting locations before many have to die.

Do I believe in "climate change"? I personally really don't know. But I do believe the climate changes.

Read the OP.

Member never claims the video is about snow. He writes so much destruction and then gives information about his place.

No need to do repeated inquisitive posts like that. Reading comprehension

Not yet, Japan has suffered a massive snow storm, meanwhile Australia these huge floods.. no doubt it will be blamed on man made climate change, but is extreme weather an affect of carbon or something else? Weather modification? I can only speculate, but we are moving towards the resource based economy..

This the reason that I made my thread bout severe weather.

I know that severe weather has happened before, but the number of events that are happening, along with the increase in severity, seems to have greatly increased.

The thing that stands out for me, is the number of people that say the same thing. "This has never happened before!"

When you see the amount of damage to the areas including the destruction of whole towns and villages, it is obvious that most of those structures have been there for decades, for some even centuries, so it is not very likely anything quite so intense, had occurred there before.

Just glad that people are starting to pay attention.

Please don't get uppity, I was confused because I couldn't see the link between him referencing 30ft of snow with the flooding video.
My reading comprehension is perfectly fine thank you

All good, but that's exactly what reading comprehension is.

The reporter on the video said the Weather Service had no idea this was coming?? WTH?
Like Rainbow Jane, I too was confused as to why the OP would state Japan has 30' of snow, then post a video of Australian flooding- isn't that off-topic thread drift?

To be fair I can’t comprehend the OP on many an occasion!

Also I’m not sure if all these new low effort threads need making? Can’t people post in existing threads already discussing these matters? Sorry I know your not a mod that’s just my gripe at these hit and run type threads..

Hey this is not a personal attack, just own up to it, I noticed you doing this a few times now, so I thought I may give you a hint what you're doing is received by others.

Don't take it personal but it IS reading comprehension. Not saying you lack it in general but you did not comprehend what you read in the OP and went all out inquisitive, basically hinting on MiM being full of #.

It's not the first time you do this. I am sure there is no bad intent but a repeating pattern.

No hate or offense intended.

That's what you decided to comprehend, but actually wasn't my intention. See how comprehension works?

Hey this is not a personal attack, just own up to it,

That's a bit of a contradiction isn't it?
Conversation over because its off topic.

In way too many of these events, it is a common theme. No Warning.

People went to bed thinking all was well to wake up fighting for their lives.

Way too often.

You missed the point!

Since when does the weather system not know of an approaching front? Approaching fronts are usually noted 5/6 days ahead of their arrival, and modified each day as to trajectory. Does Australia not have those capabilities? Their weathermen don't have radar to track upcoming storms?
