The mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi tonight signed an unprecedented ordinance for the Campania capital, which imposes “a ban on the use of fireworks, firecrackers, barrels, rockets and similar pyrotechnic devices throughout the city from 16 to 31 December at 24 on January 1st ».
The penalties: fines of up to 500 euros
“Unless the fact constitutes a crime – concludes the order signed by the mayor – Violators of the prohibition are punished by applying the administrative sanction envisaged for an amount between € 25 and € 500, the seizure and confiscation of pyrotechnic material. On new years eve day at 7 I went to the movies, me and my girl wondered why so many people were standing around the stadium... Boom fireworks for ten minutes we got there at the exact perfect time to see them start and end and had no idea they were happening. Can't go to Celtics or Bruins games tho 😔. This is so dumb
