I had this amazing dream, but it just left me utterly frustrated.

So in this dream I was visiting all these different areas. Some by a nice lake, some in a city etc. All lovely.
I walked to each area.

Upon arriving to each area I spoke with an “expert” and that expert told me what my psychic and gifted powers were. It was kinda weird because each expert was in a sort of booth, so it was easy for me to identify them and I knew that I needed to go up to each one to ask.
I was so happy and amazed. I went from one area to the next.

Here is where it sucks!!!! I woke up and I for the life of me can’t remember what any of the “experts” told me, but I remember going up to each of them and the places!

The whole feeling of the dream was very positive, each place seemed like a vacation like area, very beautiful and calm. Each expert was very helpful and was waiting for me.

It sounds like you dreamed through a video game tutorial and then you got into the real game and actually had to do it and realized you remembered nothing about anything in the tutorial. Happens to us all.

It was so bizarre and unlike any other dream I've had.
I don't know if it is like a video game tutorial as I don't play any.

What this dream is telling you is that you have no psychic powers…
But more important that you should forget all about such things so you can fully appreciate and experience the beauty of everything around you and even more that the opinions of others on such is meaningless even if you mistakenly hold said individuals in high esteem…

Perhaps try to meditate to see if you can recall anything still? Perhaps with the aid of visuals/sounds/scents?

You are starting to understand that your "dream" persona has its own unique abilities that can be used in those places.

You don't "remember" them when conscious simply because in your "awoke" world they do not pertain to you.

Keep thinking about it, especially before going to sleep.

Having a journal helps if you can recapture the first little bit when you wake up.

And don't listen to the other advice on this thread... these people don't understand that your dreams are a much bigger part of the whole "you" than just the part you currently think of as "reality."

And start to think of how you can change your conscious reality by dreaming it.

Welcome to being actually "Awake".

I've heard sharing dreams takes something away from the experience.

There is an entire, full-functioning, around-the-clock, alternate consciousness within you that you are consciously unaware of.

The message(s) was for that part of you...and you got to have a peek.

I've experienced similar peeks and only remember being amazed at how much it knows about the conscious me...and how little I know about the subconscious me.

I do have this, and the second I woke up I tried to remember everything and just couldn’t for just those specific parts, but I remember all the parts before and after.

So the one place I went was a lakeside area, very touristy looking but very nice.
I went up to a booth, and there was an Indian man, maybe a guru of some sorts, big beard, very friendly. I went up, he told me something and I left and off to the next place.

So what you were told was for the "Dream" you and not the "Awake" you.

Which are but two of three parts of the whole you.

You are starting a journey towards actual self-realization.

I'm excited for you!!!

When delving back into a dream I pull to mind the most rememberable face I can recall out of it and hold in my 3rd eye spot eyes closed as long as I can and then just listen using the throat chakra.

My strangest one of late I was meditating with my hand under my head resting on my elbow and it is as if my eyelids were yanked off and I could clearly see another world it was the same one just all the light behind my eyelids collected all the colors etc in the room and rearranged everything into a new form of the exact same size as when open.

It's something I don't suggest too often as it can cause a nasty kink in the neck but over time it will cease to kink from practise... the premise is that if you fall asleep instead of meditate you head will go bouncing from you neck across the bed and onto floor as your arms try to get it back on your shoulders... in other words wake you up. It's one I've had but it was more humorous than scary.

Try a guided meditation...using one of the places in the dream that you remember as a starting point.

Thank you for explaining that better than I can right now.

I've not used English as a language for a bit now and I am getting... bad at it.

Why I stopped writing here, actually...

Maybe next year.

Here’s the weird thing, I’m almost certain the place I was at was in Italy, even though I’ve never been there!

If you should come across any of the 'teachers' from the dream in a guided meditation...directly ask them their name.
The name you receive in response will be an easy puzzle for you to solve.

Cherokee.

Although in my life I have spoken Hopi, Delaware, Swedish, French, German and English...

When I dream it is in Cherokee.

Sorry to take up your thread space with this, but if I don't use a language much then I tend to start losing fluency.

I haven't been "out" in reality for a bit, don't have to work and am writing a book in Cherokee... so I am losing my English, which frustrates me and makes me feel stupid.

Tomorrow I am doing a Cherokee sweat lodge ceremony so am TOTALLY ready for that.

But I fear that I have to get back to society again and brush up afterwards.

Or I will go feral again...

I hate to go off topic...but, would you mind writing out some Cherokee here?...I've never seen it in written form.
