This is called "herd immunity'.... it's what Trump wanted to do, even though he himself, of course, had the vaccine and covid.

It works on the 'only the strong survive' theory. So you are essentially letting the elderly people, along with others who have co-morbidities die from it. When implemented, there is a surge of death among people over 65, people who have diseases such as diabetes, lung disease, obesity, comprised immune systems such as transplant patients, cancer treatments and such.

But in the long run, only the younger and healthier people will survive, therefore essentially combating the virus.

I don't think most of the people in the United States are so cruel and sinister that they are willing to go this route, when there are means of some prevention.

Is every single person who falls into those categories an immobile, non-communicative vegetable, or are they capable of continuing with the same mitigation expectations they previously set for themselves, which have kept them alive this far in life?

Inquiring minds want to know just how infantile, inept & stupid you think us At-Risks really are.

Don't think you are stupid at all and I didn't mean to imply that. I don't think anybody intentionally gets the virus. Sometimes people get it despite all their efforts.

The majority of South Africans live elbow to elbow in townships.

26,6% of the population have been fully vaxed according to the official stats.

No mass die off of people with co-morbidities. Not even amongst the elderly.

We've had 90k covid related deaths, and we know that number is questionable because medical professionals are incentivized to list deaths as covid related to boost the stats.

The latest, most contagious variant has been described by experts as "very mild".

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I intentionally wanted the virus and I finally got it. Me and my coworkers all wanted it and got it. Took a while to get it because every time someone got it they were sent home and quarantined but finally one in my immediate group got exposed at a funeral and brought it back with her.

We were all so happy and no one was seriously ill.

Haha yeah, same for me. I figured I need to cough all that gunk out, I hadn't even heard of Covid at the time. Garlic definitely did the trick, so did tea(variety but mostly green tea with lemon and honey), cinnamon, and good old fashioned Campbell's tomato or chicken noodle soup. Fit as a fiddle.

a reply to: Ravenwatcher

Come to think of it, my tongue did feel burnt as well, but I had soup and don't remember at what "stage" the burning came. I do have a ringing in my ear/s every now and then, however I can contribute that to tinnitus from years of loud noises whether properly or improperly protected. I don't have an issue with heartbeat irregularity, but I've never had, and my family has a history of it. Stress plays a huge factor in that, but not the only one. I hope you pinpoint the exact issue with your heart and overcome your problem!

Good to know. Being a former Gulf Coast beach rat, the best way I can put You Can Have My Vaccine Doses Too is like so:

We know there's a hurricane near, we're watching from the shore.

Are winds picking up? Yes. Do I need to go in yet? No.

I might come away a little more sand-blasted, but I'm fine for it still. A little stiff high wind doesn't send me in, it needs to be more of a threat to so much as make me chuckle. And the same goes for Covid.

Get my drift?

South Africa halts covid quarantine requirements with immediate effect

Basically they are encouraging people to get the virus and get it over with....

....therefore building up their natural resistance to the virus! What a novel idea...

Something big must be going on behind the scenes, and it doesn't look good for big harma.

This announcement concerns both the vaxed and the unvaxed.

I've been saying this ever since the CDC began periodically updating their website (beginning in October 2020) to say those who contracted and recovered from Covid-19, very rarely caught Covid-19 again.

Contracting/Recovery (or rarely, dying) is the only way to get all this medical and media hysteria behind us, since the vaccines are NOT REALLY vaccines.

Reinfection with Covid-19 is rare: www.cdc.gov...

That's what I just did and I'm no genius.

I did it back in February when my wife had Covid-19. I made sure she snored on me at night, and I hit the jackpot!

Two weeks later, went to LabCorp who confirmed that I had the Covid-19 antibodies.

Over 50 million Americans have the LONG TERM antibodies from Covid recovery.

Not the short-lived antibodies that Trump's vaccines trigger.

If people had to pay for these fake vaccines, they'd be more than pissed.

Your source is no longer valid since omicron.
That being said, the reinfection rate now is extremely high.
The “advantage”’that South Africa has, if you can call it an advantage. Is that they were ravaged by the previous versions. A lot of people died in SA, to get to this point.

This means even with low vaccination rates, the the population is awash with some form of antibodies.
Therefore the cases will be milder.

The question now is, with omicron being so different than the originals. What will immunity look like for those who have only had omicron, but no vaccine?

My opinion on purposely getting covid?
Really bad idea. It could very well come back to haunt you.
Long term antibodies are done if you had Covid in the early days.

I recall the Amish had little trouble with this from the word CV 19.

Some one did a meme that rings true about how they cured Covid was they didn't watch TV.

Herd immunity for a virus is just the way it is. Humans and virus matter have coexisted for Eons.

Not to say there wasn't a virus that was a real thing. I am saying the virus that the cold needs us to live, Yes, it can kill.

Fear monger much? Why would we fear a virus that is weaker than the original would be because of the news and or the shills that need us to take more faux vaccinations. Common sense is not so common anymore. Oh what a shame for people are witnessing others attempting to do to win the "narrative".

A member asked me "Why would you be trying to contract covid?"

I don't think I even replied as I just stared at the question on the screen
for a while. Finally just meandered off in a confused state bounce'n off
walls.

I mean if there was only one question on the planet that had a single
A. answer as in this case antibodies? This would have to be that question.

Well then, prove your claim that long term antibodies are done if you had Covid19 in the early days. Because I'm seeing and hearing that only the vaccinated and unvaccinated with no history of Covid19 infection are the ones getting sick. I haven't met anyone who previously had Covid19 becoming sick from Covid again. Not in any variety. Would like to review your sources.

I got to admit it climbed pretty deep in my lungs quick and caused
some exerted coughing episodes. But once I got my hands on some
Ny=quil and got some rest, I knew I had it whipped. Definitely got
a taste of how lethal it could possibly be though.

I'm interested in this quote above because one thing I keep wondering is, I hear people saying, "Oh I got it! Was REALLY bad." But isn't that what I said 30 years ago when I had the worst flu EVER and couldn't get out of bed for 3 days? I had a cough so deep that I felt I was would vomit I was coughing so much. And that was, flu. Now I'm not saying people haven't had worse symptoms, but I do wonder how many of us are interpreting an illness in light of Covid hysteria.

Yeah, that "antibodies don't last" BS is what tipped me off that this is planned. Virology 101: you get a virus, recover and you can never get it again. Okay true, not so if it's mutated enough. When it does, you can get it again, but it's still the same virus, albeit mutated, so your system does remember to a degree and you won't get as sick. During H1N1, they said hardly anyone over 50 was getting it, and that was because decades earlier, they'd been exposed to something close enough so they had immunity to H1N1, DECADES later.

Antibodies are not the end all and be all. They DO disappear, but they are supposed to. I had measles when I was a kid. I am immune for life but if you check my blood for measles antibodies, you might not find any. It's the B and T cell memory that will send antibodies in again if needed.

The fact that this is textbook, and that Fauci et al don't "know" this is the biggest piece of BS I've ever heard.

Sadly that's one of the biggest negatives of Covid the parting of friendships. Ive lost a friend over it simply because we were unable to have a rational discussion about it. Many people in NZ have been saying its a form of apartheid taking place and some who have been vaccinated have been harassing those whom choose not too despite it being harassment potentially carrying an offense if taken too far. Ive seen references of the Springbok rugby tournament where people are using that in terms of Covid, its not really that bad but there have been people at places like airports pretty much ganging up non vaccinated people not exactly getting violent but heckling them. Its appalling behavior.
