I have about five also, at the moment. Family members and friends, fully vaccinated and boostered.

All sick with COVID.

Since three injections don't seem to be doing the trick, I guess a fourth will soon be on the horizon.

Then maybe the fact they aren't working may be part of the trick.

I completely agree. Hospitals in general have become political and financial institutions.
It doesn't help, in this pandemic environment that there is funding available for each covid case being treated.
It just encourages the issue.

And, yeah. Finding a good Doc is worth it's weight in gold. The new generation of medical and dental graduates
are really just technicians. They do very little physical exam and it's largely computer check-box diagnosis. No thought or detective work needed.
AND I'm seeing more medical/dental schools receiving direct funding from pharma and medical-device companies.
Who needs villains like Fauci when the system has been corrupt for a very long time.

The other issue that I found was as follows:
Every time I go in, I am asked if I've been vaccinated.

when I stumbled over my clinical notes. The notes specify that I've been refusing the vax when offered. Technically, they never offered the vax to me. They just asked if I had taken it. I don't appreciate the misrepresentation.

That's because there is literally no way of knowing, it varies depending on the basic health of the individual, the variant that you we exposed to, what level of exposure you have had, and about a gazillion other factors.

I cannot tell you how much less it will hurt if you get hit by a hockey puck when wearing shin guards as opposed to not wearing them. Can you?

And shin guards have been around a lot longer than the covid vax.

Surely that means that you'd never wear shin guards while playing hockey?

If the shin guards were made of a compound that contained materials with unknown long term effects on the wearers, the manufacturers had been given unprecedented indemnity from legal action lasting beyond the lifetimes of those in charge and meanwhile many appear to be dying after wearing the guards, then I think I’ll take my chances with the hockey sticks, thanks!
