Something I discovered: front row center is not the best seats for 3D viewing. My fault for not buying tickets sooner.
Overall, I give the movie a solid 7.5 - 8.0. I'm looking forward to buying the Blu-Ray.
Spoiler Alert!
I think my favorite line in the movie is when Osborne says, "You know, I'm something of a scientist myself." Must be just me, though. I didn't hear anyone else in the theater laughing.

So I just saw this movie with my son, we both loved it. In my opinion as a Spiderman fan starting in the 70's the Sony/MCU/Holland story line continues to be the best Parker/Spiderman amalgam we've had so far. Your mileage may vary.
I'd love to discuss it with other people but I don't want to drop any spoilers yet. The first credits cookie bugged me and I was hoping there were some people familiar with the character in that scene that could explain something to me.

The scene that bothered you was a weird attempt by Sony to organically plant seeds for a future character arc. If you know what I mean.
