Anyone Find it weird that two places in Antarctica are named Delta and Omicron

The more you realize that nothing is a coincidence.
I know these are Greek names, but tell me the chances of two island both named that?

So there is Delta island and Omicron Island and also an island called coronation island.
It will be interesting to see what happens with coronation in relation to Covid.
Coronation is the crowing of a sovereign, or something with the head. It also refers to a crown.
If you look at covid, the spikes look similar to a crown.

It's no coincidence. Greek numbers are popular with everybody who had geometry. And are used in fields that use a lot of mathematical techniques, like geography or biology.
And it's called Corona exactly because it looks like a crown.

I used to take 1st dates to a particular Italian place that had a fancy Italianized version of a U.S. map on the wall in the lobby.

I'd 'wonder' out loud where 'DC' is and watch to see if she looked left or right.

Lefties got pizza & beer at the bar, while righties got lobster & 20 year old scotch in a nice booth.

Most lefties would actually point to Washington State and get all excited that they found it first.


I make that particular determination much earlier in the process now, no reason to waste perfectly good pizza on a democrat.

Well, with all of the mystery behind Antarctica lately: prominent people visiting it, claims of aliens being there, Byrd’s and other odd lore behind Antarctic--- you never know.

High Jump is the name of the mission Byrd took to Antarctica.

The numbers have meaning too, 4(delta) and O (15) …which I won’t go into at this point.

How do they come up with these names, does anyone know? What to call these variants.

Okay, they go by the letters of the Greek alphabet, then we have had then 15 variants already but the big ones I guess that have caused the most alarm are delta and omicron.
