Not acceptable to you maybe, but the explanations sound fine to me, in fact you mention it here but don't seem to make the connection that the alleged UFOs are according to art experts, quite often attributed to religious symbolism:

It´s funny to see and hear the reactions if you show that old stuff to people who simply don´t want to see, even with open eyes. I ask them to explain those paintings, woodcarvings, weavings etc from hundreds or thousands of years ago. I always tell them there was no Roswell before, there were no science fiction movies or comics around at that time, how did these people come to the idea to depict UFOs same as people describe them nowadays?
It´s funny to hear their explanations. That what you clearly can see there isn´t what you see there because... Never heard an acceptable or logical explanation yet, over all those years.
The people who made the paintings with things in the sky could very well be showing us religious symbolism, but I suppose they can be a bit like Rorschach tests, in that if you want to see something else, you can.
The most funny fact is that some of these people believe in religions, in old bearded men living in heaven who are almighty and omniscient. They even talk to these invisible beings (praying) and hope for wonders these beings maybe will do for them if they only pray hard enough... xD
Conspiracy theorists claim that ancient artwork could hide signs that aliens have visited the human race.
Several centuries-old paintings, cave drawings and tapestries contain symbols and shapes that resemble UFOs and extraterrestrials.
But art experts say that these are simple misreadings of religious symbols or figures.
