Children have the right to expect others to provide for them. There's other groups that have historically been provided for in nearly every culture
such as the old.
Rights evolve as our needs evolve let's not forget that people went through all sorts of hell and sometimes died for things we consider rights today,
without things like basic education I can only assume swathes of the world's population would be peasants dying to revolt or end up disposed of by
some glorious revolution. Would you consider basic education a right?
Consider that common criminals and repeat offenders tend to be uneducated and difficult to employ and that ketsuko is the essence of my point. We
cannot survive in a modern world without what's considered basic provisions and more importantly living naturally like our ancestors isn't possible
for most of the world's population.
I feel I'm not explaining my point, anyways if you ended up stranded alone it's survival. That said if you caused an ecological disaster such as
burning the forest down you will pay for it, hunt an endangered species? That's expensive dining. Access to basic things for survival whilst we live
under governments is a right and the alternative is things like the French Revolution.
Bonafide survival isn't feasible for the majority of people given our population density around the world. Most aren't trained in peasantry or
hunter-gathering either.
