Shootout video and sheriffs outstanding comments.

Has anyone seen this video?
The highway patrol has a car pulled over.

One of the officers is talking to one of the car occupants over by the police SUV.
Another one of the occupants casually is leaning against their pulled over vehicle.
Inside the car, a man is in the backseat with a baby and a dog, having small talk with the second officer.

Soon, the 2nd officer asks the last remaining occupant of the vehicle to step outside and says that he will watch the baby.

Well, Dude bursts out of the car with what looks like a tech-9 and starts spraying bullets.
Both officers run for cover.
Money, with the tech, either gets hit with a ricochet or one of the cops hits him in the leg.
Homie is hopping around on one foot… but he ain’t done yet.
Somehow the police lose track of where he is.
One of the cops is just shooting blindly towards the vehicle with the baby in it.
Dude pops up like the butler in Mr Deeds and bonks one cop on the noodle with the butt of his gun.
The officers partner dumps his clip as he’s running away while the perp is beating on the other officer.

Cut to the next clip and you see the other officer who dropped his clip, come back into the frame, unloading like 20 bullets into perp.

Then we get a shot from inside the sheriffs office.
And what our man at the podium says is absolutely priceless.

“To those out there who may be foolish enough to ask why we shot him so many times… that answer is simple.
Because evil, can never be dead enough”

My goodness what a… I don’t even know what it is.

Finally, a Sheriff with some balls. Had there been no video, it would be "they killed my boy. He had his hands up, don't shoot! There was a baby in the car.... a dog in the car..." He was just trying to be a rapper.

It just also shows how off the rails somethings as simple as a traffic stop can go and why cops are always on edge... and why anyone who is pulled over needs to keep this type of stuff in mind and why they need to simple STFU and follow basic instructions and not create a situation where a cop feels their life might be threatened.

This has been out for a few months. I believe it was here in Florida. Kudos to the sheriff and his deputies.

I agree. Often conflicts with the police can be avoided if one party just shuts up and listens to authority, instead of trying to be an arm chair lawyer or civil rights martyr.

Don’t get me wrong, just as often, the police are the ones responsible for escalating the encounter.
But in this case it was a completely unprovoked attack on the officers.

And yes, it is good there was dash cam footage or it would be a case of their word against the deceased.

I'll rail against FL with the best of 'em, I grew up there & Florida Man is a well-earned meme not far off as a personification.

But that # up there in that video is why if you're SMART, you don't # with the cops in Florida -- if you're stupid, they don't hesitate & it's probably gonna hurt.

That cop should open up a deli, he likes making Swiss cheese.
Or moonlight as an exterminator, he has found a way of eliminating cockroaches permanently.
Simple assholes will never learn.

Definetly not a tec 9. Looks like your standard AR pistol with bufffer tube. I saw that on fox news back in the summer i think. Testament to Brevard county (democrat) lax attitude towards crime?? How could he be out on bond with the seriousness of some of his past violent offenses??

Reminds me of the time when Polk County Sheriff, Grady Judd commented on why a swat team had shot a suspect(who had shot 2 officers) 67 times. He said "Because that's all we had for bullets". I don't feel bad for anyone who opens fire on police. They don't shoot to wound. They aim center mass and shoot until you stop moving/breathing.

He actually got behind them while hopping on one foot! I'm guessing he was out of ammo or that could have been a lot worse. Can't blame the deputy for unloading there. Was that guy on drugs or what god damn.
