SO... I've been playin this game since August... and i still love it

Just posting this to let anyone interested know... Multiplayer has been released... and its amazing!!

The game just got 100% better now that theres actual people to interact with!

And this game actually has more players then the new Battle field 2042, which is a triple A rated game...

PZ has isometric graphics... I think that speaks volumes about the quality of this game!!

Get it... its cheap and so worth the buy

Theres a tragic story behind that pic... lol

I don't do MMOs since my days with DAOC and Everquest,
However , I will look into the game as a single-player .
Thanks for the heads up .

Just checked into it on Steam
I think its a buy.
Why ?
Reminds me of an isometric version of one of my favorites.
A little known game called "Night of the Dead " .

MMO : don't know , don't care for em .
No matter the "number" .
When I see "multi" that is usually my sign to move along .
I edited my post as I already checked it out .

Honestly... I've been playing multiplayer for a few days now....

I've yet to see a single person... and i've died at least 10 times

the map is huge... its a model of a place in Kentucky...

and Louisville was just added... Most people are there

doesn't matter though.... single player is still amazing

I like games like this , and I appreciate you posting.
As long as they can be played solo .

It's always had a multiplayer mode pal, certainly since i started playing around 2-3 years ago. Me, my lad and my brother play together on little family server i host. I'm assuming you mean it now has official public servers.

Always thought this would be a great game for the members of ATS, it runs on pretty much any modern PC even without dedicated graphics, the survival mechanics and base building would make for a great ATS community server.

If we can get enough numbers i would possibly even be prepared to host said server and we could work together.

It actually has a limit of 64 players on a dedicated server. From my PC i normally run 16 player public server and i can play on it at same time as hosting without any issues.

Dedicated PZ server

I've killed many hours at "work" playing this game on my laptop.

As a server admin you can teleport any player to your location. We could use this to start any new community players at the 'safe house'.

This game is far from easy on the base settings, it has a million ways to kill you. I went to make a coffee IRL and came back to find i'd left the in game cooker on and burnt down my safe house which took about 10 hours of in game play to fortify and stock with supplies and research books.

Wasn't too happy.

If you like survival games with surprising amount of depth this one is for you.

Yes it has... but build 41 didn't...only split screen which wasn't great

41.60 is the new multiplayer... and its only 16 players atm

the older game with multiplayer is a completely different game... i played it for a while. Its not bad

But the new update basically revamped the game... and brought thousands of new players because its just that good

Sounds like you haven't played for a while... which might mean you haven't played with the latest big update...

You're in for a treat!! New sounds totally remastered with a professional sound studio... new animations

Its an entirely different game from build 40... and considering its just an isometric game... it will actually scare the crap out of you

Name on there is the same as here... but im just getting into multiplayer... found a pretty good server

I'll post the details

I watched some of ambiguousamphibian's Project Zombiod videos a few months ago and it persuaded me to try the game. I feel like his videos are a big part of the reason PZ is becoming so popular recently. I've only played like 14 hours of PZ so far but I've already died like half a dozen times. The longest I survived was like 3 real life hours. It's probably the most hardcore survival game I've ever played, which I like, but it can get frustrating at times. I learned quickly that covering up windows is crucial.

I'm not the type of person who plays a lot of isometric games, but I love realistic survival games with good crafting and building mechanics, and PZ seems to have those things. But I don't quite understand how being infected works, one time I turned into a zombie but I didn't seem to get bitten, anyone know? For those trying to decide whether or not to buy PZ, I would suggest watching some of ambiguousamphibian's videos. Here are a few of his most popular PZ videos:

Yup... a bite is 100% infection...

a scratch is in the region of 12-25% chance of infection

You can also die from a scratch or cut from anything...wandering free style through a forest is a death sentence... jumping through a window with broken glass might get you a nasty wound or even just a scratch... but IF you don't bandage it, or disinfect and bandage you will die from that sort of infection too... some wounds require stitches which need a needle and thread as well

I actually play single player on Insta death when infected... i hate waiting to die

Any other questions you have, feel free to post... i wouldn't say im a veteran quite yet... but i've logged well over 200 hours learning everything i can about the skills, tools, and mechanics of the game while i play... my record is surviving 35 days so far, which is technically 35 hours

Oh... and beware of Guns... they're loud and attract a lot of zombies IF you use them LOL

Yeah I got a deep cut from climbing through a broken window but I was able to manage it, but I learned to always remove the broken glass when possible. I also found a gun in one of my early playthroughs and thought it would be useful for getting out of sticky situations, but it ended up getting me killed.

LOL

Tends to be something you learn the hard way, along with most things in this game... same thing happened to me...

the detail the developers put into this game is incredible... like they didn't miss a beat, and its only getting better

Real Zombs have these characteristics. If they lack more than 2 they're not fully zombified.

Warehouses are a good place for back up bases , you can demolish the crates and use the planks you recieve.

best to build multiple bases , if a chopper spots you it will attract all the Z to you.

Also cars are good at the beginning to block doorways from zombies.
