Maybe some people came to your house in the middle of the night and rearranged your bedding while you slept. Do you live in Las Vegas?

maybe you just, in the middle of the night, decided to get "the cold side".

You threw both the sheet and the blanket to the side and grabbed both's other corner, dragging it back over you: Tada! You changed the order. Not a big deal, try it. Just throw it to the left for example and let go, then it's upside down and you grab to edge that is now nearer to you and pull it back over.

Just this but with two. Does the blanket have two different patterns on each side? If you'd remember how you put it, if it's now also rotated, my explanation could be the one.

Sleep walking.

Although it’s not as exciting as some of the other explanations it’s probably the most likely.
You were in a deep sleep and had to make your bed, or pull your covers down, and grabbed the bottom sheet with the others.

swings in the backyard in the middle of the night.I don't
know how I got there.

That has to be some of the worst sleep walking activity out there. If you're gonna sleep walk why do chores? Why not drink beer and ogle the chickies?

Imagine you wake up to the smell of bacon & eggs, fresh coffee without missing a second sleep

Then you get the story of the Rep who was afraid of the dark.

Due to being behind schedule he stopped in a small town looking for a place to stay as it was getting dark.

With no available space and some serious pleading the “Hotel Clerk” double booked him with a guy with a drinking problem. “Sir you must understand this man won’t mind but he could make a noise when he comes in.

In the middle of the night the drunkard arrived with a noise and passed out on top of his bed. Not long after that the Rep needed to go to the toilet with an emergency. Oops, the lights in the passage do not work. Eventually with no options and to afraid of the dark the Rep took of the drunkard’s pants and did his business in it and put it back on.

The following morning he was awaken by the repeated mumbling of the drunkard “This can be – This cannot be, this can be – this cannot be”

Good morning do you mind me asking what can be and what couldn’t be.

Well you see I drink too much and could have had an accident, but not between my pants and underpants

Okay, this is awkward.

I didn't want to turn on the lights and I was in a hurry.

Strange. What do you think could be causing these events for you ?

Best guess sometype of sleepwalking disorder. Have you taken any new medications or started taking sleeping aids? Heard people can do strange things when sleepwalking.

I did like the Mandela effect/ parallel universe theory. On the parallel theory watched some you tube vids of storys. One was someone woke up next to a stranger that said she was his girlfriend. One where an entire street completely changed. Maybe there is something to cern messing up the fabric of our universe.

Only other thing I can think of is a ghost. More than likely a sleepwalking issue. You are completely alone, right? No roomates or other family members living in the house.

You could always try to record yourself during the night to see if you are sleepwalking, or something else strange happens.

Good luck getting to the bottom of the mystery.

Yes , I'm going with that too, makes most sense

Interesting too, something I will have to look into further.

we don't take any meds. No changeless but none of those things explain the floor, it sounds and acts like 50 years older but returns to normal. This has been happening for a couple years now on and off. When I enter the room and the floor sounds like it will fall through i already know it is that time again.

I get this weird feeling that the hyphens imply shackles.

If sleep stays restful, for persons without access to personal assistants or 'personal assistants' that is a great way to keep taps on the chores.
