What things do you want to do in your life?

Indeed.

My question was how many people don't get that there was someone under the table with at least 1 magnet making the graphene oxide Iron Filings move around.

lux, your heart is in the right place, but imo you need to vet your sources better if you want to make a real difference in the good fight.

I want to keep learning till I die....or get alzheimer disease....at which point I will revert back to a teenager and start having fun again. At that point I will just decide quit the school I am going to, the school of life.

I wanted to study medicine when I was young, that is what I am doing now that I cannot work anymore.

At least we do not have any payments other than a car payment, the house is all paid off. Of course, we do still have utilities and taxes to pay, but between our two social security checks and some stock dividends, we don't have to take money from our savings very often. Living within our means requires cooking home cooked meals a lot which are way better than what they have in most restaurants and what we would pay for the sales tax and tip for the meal covers the cost of making a similar meal at home from scratch. Of course, we do occasionally go out to eat as a treat. About once every three weeks we go out for a fish fry or to a chinese buffet. I am not that good at making Chinese food other than the stir fry and the wife makes the rice...we buy generals chicken in the sue mings frozen dinner packages, it is ok I suppose. We make a whitefish or cod dinner at home with homefries for the price of the tip and sales tax when we go out...I buy whole whitefish from the fish house and filet them myself to save money.

There's only one big thing I want to experience that is really out of reach, it's a parabolic flight in the puke comet, being weightless for 25 seconds repeatedly.

Wow, rice is kind of expensive there, here white rice is about a buck sixty for two pounds. Cod we get on sale individually frozen for around five bucks a pound on sale. The whole whitefish are five bucks a pound, same as whole lake superior lake trout. For those who don't want to clean a fish and filet it, they are paying about twelve bucks a pound for the fillets of those two fish. Filets of local Superior salmon are also twelve bucks a pound, but imported salmon from Alaska runs about sixteen bucks a pound for the filets, I don't even consider farmed salmon as fish myself.

But I can go in the streams here and get a meal of brook trout in about an hour riding to town which is three miles away. And there are lots of lakes with fish in them, walleye, bass, bluegills, and northern pike. I just gave away my boats and canoe, too much hastle at my age to haul them around. I could easily go out and catch three hundred pounds of various fish a year. But the kids are too busy and I don't like going alone anymore, I used to like sitting by a lake and fishing, cooking up a fish on the fire as I fished.

Our grass fed beef half came out to cost about six dollars and sixty one cents a pound...hamburger and better...with meaty soup bones and short ribs figured in at around three fifty a pound. Marrow bones, liver, heart and tongue I figured at two bucks a pound. overall yeald came to seventy nine percent hanging weight with a two and a half week hang. Can you tell I am a little OCD and a perfectionist, about means within a penny a pound.
That includes butchering and packaging costs in double wrapped paper...frozen in the freezers for two days to save on our freezers having to freeze them.
