Yutu-2 has already found a mystery blob in a crater and now while continuing on it's trundle around the Far Side of the Moon it has spotted a curious cube-shaped object in the distance.

I've slightly zoomed in on the object but the original picture and story is Here

Now I know it's probably just one or perhaps two of kubrick's monoliths but the CNSA have found it interesting and decided to trundle over to take a closer look at it, it may be just a giant rock or perhaps one of those Alien Moon bases reported to exist on the Dark Side of the Moon , that was why China went there after all.

Andrew Jones, a journalist who addresses the Chinese room system for SpaceNews and Space.com, highlighted a new rover update in a sequence of tweets Friday. The nickname for the dice-formed object translates to “secret household.”

Ah. We have an update from Yutu-2 on the lunar far facet, together with an picture of a cubic condition on the northern horizon ~80m absent from the rover in Von Kármán crater. Referred to as “神秘小屋” (“thriller home”), the future 2-3 lunar days will be invested getting closer to check out it out. pic.twitter.com/LWPZoWN05I

I'm not saying it's Aliens but until it's not Aliens it could be Aliens .... but would the Chinese tell us ?

Because the normies (non government) don't know, and aren't supposed to know. Why not piss in the IC's cornflakes a bit to teach them a lesson for digging into Wuhan business.

They wouldn't tell us but I'm wondering if NASA already knows and isn't telling either.

Obviously i cannot judge much scale from the image.

Thing might be 100s of meters tall all the same depending on the distance of the rover.

The good thing is that Chinese are not NASA.
Bad thing is that they are commies. They just wanna be in the club.
So far they may be like a kid with night vision goggles. Threatening to leak stuff until they are allowed access the star gate and alien technology 😀

Because the Dark Side of the Moon isn't dark which is why it's now called the Far Side.

I wonder if it is anywhere near the 'hot spot' on this map which shows the deflection ratio of solar wind from the moon (far side)

Wouldn't that be interesting.

This tweet shows the location of the rover and the crater it's looking towards:

twitter.com...

The boulder is about 60m away.

China are pretty open with their lunar data - all you need to do is register with them:

moon.bao.ac.cn...

Certainly worth checking out close up.
They are sayng it will take 2-3 days to get near to the object,so I gues if we don't hear anything it MUST be an alien base.

Like Andy said,It could be huge depending on ow far away it is.

If we knew the speed the rover travels(had a look, couldn't find info)and we know it will take 2-3 days to reach the object,we could then make a rough estimate at how far away and how big the cube is.

I hope it turns out to be something exciting, but not too exciting that China will cover it up.

If the bolder is only 60 meters distant you would imagine the cameras on the rover, which i assume to be state of the art or there about, could resolve a better quality image.

Obviously the bandwidth involved to return the images back to Earth comes into play where picture image quality is concerned.

But even then at such a short distance i somehow expected more.

Maybe they will drive to the near side of the moon and take pics of the lunar landers

Terrain may be of concern there never mind distance the Moon after all with a radius of 1,737km.

Don't think the rovers have that kind of capability just yet.

Maybe it’s the entrance to the farm stand where one buys the moon cheese

They will tell us ... maybe ... some day ...
Our real leaders will decide. Yes those who stand above the WEF. Real leaders we will never see or know. By the way: They know no bounderies. To them globalization is already a fact.
They decide about covid craziness and what we see on the moon.
Crazy or not. The moon and covid are connected in the sense that the gods have given guidelines to our true leaders. And those guidelines are on the moon. The perfect time capsule accessible only to the smartest of humanity ... which are in the hands of those who know. The decissions they take, make me angry and sad. But I don't want to be in their shoes. God bless the world.
