Indications Omicron is airborne

Starting to see indications that Omicron is in fact airborne.
This could explain the crazy increase in positive cases in South Africa, which is now up to 24.3% today from 3% 9 days ago.

Case 1: The Oslo event, apparently they are now suggesting that the infection took place during a restaurant visit before the party, as not all infected were present at the party afterwards.

Case 2: Probable Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron Variant in Quarantine Hotel, Hong Kong, China, November 2021
Infected hotel guest, transmitted Omicron across a hallway with closed doors. Doors only opened to receive food. The two guests never met each other.


This means even masks could be less effective, as many people don't do enough to seal off the mask in the top and sides, thus making it possible for air to be drawn in, along with airborne virus, since the virus now lingers in the air.
