I'm god damned fuming... this crap .... tears me apart. If I'd been there I'd have been arrested for punching this pig in the face.

This is how things go, these days. If this is not war, war on us all, then what is.

Man I need to calm down..... before I say something I won't be able to delete..

Avi is a dickhead... Honestly. he went back to Israel and did his service with the IDF, kicking Palestinians out of their homes etc... and then gets paid by a Canadian Internet news service to report on "injustice" in Australia. LOL. Oh yeah, and he got in trouble with the law for clubbing his missus with a chopping board.

And yes, bad cops need to be brought to justice, I'm with you on that one.... but it's not as bad as you think. eg: It's "schoolies" week where I live right now (the equivalent of "spring break" I guess)... and the kids are running amok, getting high, setting off fireworks, vandalizing, partying... No "police state" here. And I live in the state that is apparently "under a dictatorship"... FFS. The fight isn't where you think it is.

I wont agree with you about Avi. He's done more to show the truth than anyone else in the media on any platform.

I live in WA, and like you, we're not - yet - locked down but we are being coerced into submission, which will lead to enforced rule.

But I despair that anyone can see our fellow Australians be treated in such a way, and not stand against it.

Damned if I will sit by, till they come for me....

I'm in VIC. We've been the most locked down out of anyone. But it really wasn't that bad... I still worked, I went surfing, I went fishing... and yes, I got the vax months ago... All good so far.

Well, you gotta pay the price to play the lotto... I'm glad it's worked for you.

Me? They will have to attack me and subdue me, to get me jabbed. And this is what I fear, and so do many thousand of Aussies.

I'd rather fight than be controlled. Control is not in my program.

Yeah with you Jericho, without Avi, we would see nothing going on outside the msm rhetoric

Not defending Avi and his past, doesn’t sound like a great fella but, we would all be condemned if people knew our failures

If they guy just killed 50 puppies, and 20 people, does that make the news he reports any less true? That was a piss poor attempt at deflection. Totally transparent. Don't be that guy.

When it comes to kids I got a really soft spot. This is also a good reminder why I don’t protest, I would’ve been in prison or dead for what I would’ve done to those police officers.

kicking Palestinians out of their homes etc

So you would be Ok with someone building a home on your property ?
Wish there were more like you here in the US....
That would help curb the homeless population .
What if they were not vaccinated , though ?
They were not compliant with a fascist regime ?

edit on 12/1/21 by Gothmog because: (no reason given)

Generally speaking, deflection is all they have. You seldom see an actual factual argument from the left. More often than not - much more often than not - it's strawman arguments or ad hominem attacks.

Actual facts and truth are hard to counter.

At a protest or whatever any damn thing can happen but dammit we expect more from the police. Im still shocked at th locking up of people in the North End over 1700 people were forcibly quarantined and they have to pay $2500 for them to be quarantined.

On the outside looking in it doesn't seem to be getting better, the Australian public has endured for a while with the fires and floods, hard lockdowns. What if all the lockdowns did was delay the inevitable? that COVID has to run through the population. You can lockdown forever but then you will have continuous protests or there should be, not to mention nobody seems concerned about the NT.

Feels like a faulty pressure cooker slowly building up pressure, who knows this may be Australia's new normal and you will be fine and right as rain.

But almost every country that cases seem to really be dropping off has had 2-3 waves of COVID it has a chance to hit all demographics. Seems if you want low COVID case numbers, you may have to live continuously as you have the last 2 years.

IF the Australian sub-Reddit is any indication either it's being censored or not enough Australians give a damn to comment barely a ripple and over 700,000 members.

Comments sections in newspapers online seem to indicate otherwise but who knows?

Homer had a lot more than deflection.
He's an australian giving us his view from the inside.

I'll take that over some shock jock looking for ratings anytime.

What have you brought to the discussion?

Is it only because you like the idea of an all vaccinated world and laughing at those you look down on?

Not putting words in your mouth, just asking?

I like reports from the trenches. Read about Stockholm Syndrome to learn how the victims become sympathetic to their controllers.

Stockholm syndrome, psychological response wherein a captive begins to identify closely with his or her captors, as well as with their agenda and demands.

I don't know if I'd go that far it's just the good ole confirmation bias, people remember things that support their beliefs and dismiss those that don't. We got tot to remember is the opposing view has just as many people that believe they are 100% correct, and they have been bombarded by MSM that ...this is the way and it's the only way to proceed. Moreso if there is any failure it's because we didn't have enough persons complying, thus those persons need to be punished and restrcited.

You do realize you live in a communist country now right? How is being locked down not bad? How is being forced to take injections not bad? How is being thankful you can do things you use to do without being thankful or concerned not bad?

It sounds like that scene in 1984 where the guy gets word he's getting a piece of chocolate.

We're not locked down. I dont have stockholm syndrome. The weather is perfect, I just watched dozens schoolies doing the walk of shame in various states, my work is flat out, the shops are all open, our #ty roads are jammed up, my favorite surf spot is way too crowded, there's young rich boys doing skids is expensive european cars.... and our underfunded health system is struggling under the extra load which means my hernia operation is still on the backburner. Just another day here in Victoria.
Yes the justice system in Australia is disgusting, I just spent 2 years and a LOT of money in the system, just to be with my own child. Yes the police force is full of absolute pricks, I have also experienced that first hand. If you wanna take the word of an Israeli shock jock, working for an internet news company from the other side of the world, be my guest.
If anyones got any actual questions about what it's like here, fire away, otherwise feel free to call me a lefty with stockholme syndrome etc... Makes no difference to me here on there ground.

Well why not ask me some questions? I will offer a far more measured and factual view then ya mate Avi. lol.
Deflection is all I have is it? Try me. I note that you've just deflected me into your BS lefty stereotype whilst offering zero facts yourself. I gave you facts and observations.... Lemme guess, I was lying because I'm a lefty? Yawn... So tired of the lefty cr@p... Polarization lesson anyone? ... And yes, I paid out on Avi because I think he's a Dick and not to be trusted. in my eyes, hes the Tracey Grimshaw of non mainstream current affairs.
