I would ask ATS users to research the news but unfortunately there are NO trusting news outlets. So, we Americans are in the dark. From what we are told, the Russian's have amassed troops near the Ukrainian border -- like, over 100K worth of troops. I have NOT SEEN any satellite photos and would think there should be photos, right? So I am suspicious. If anyone has official satellite photos of Russians amassing troops on the border please post the link for all to see.

As for nuclear war.

NO ONE WANTS NUCLEAR WAR. Only a madman would wish for that.

But, eventually such an event will happen. When? It could be us against China (Taiwan) , us against Russia (Ukraine) or Iran. There's a lot of flashpoints.

This Covid thing, the tight censorship, the fact that we have been convinced to implode over a death rate of the normal flue. The fact that essential things that came from China are no more, or hard to get. Looks more like an embargo. Already looks a bit like war. The fact that previously democratically elected governments have suffered a Corporate take over in the West. Is a Red flag, because true democracies don't usually go to war until provoked. When you unravel the Corporate nature of this takeover, it is run by the people who traditionally hate Russia. This means a showdown has to come at some stage.
Russia would have considered this in the many moves on the board, the intelligence services of the players would mean the timeframe of this developing corporate coup, will have many embedded players in each other's camp, ready to strike if things go hot. The reality with the police checks, the surveillance it 'is almost as if a war is going on already. But they are just using the covid as a blanket. If things look like they were going to go hot it would have been too easy to take down essential infrastructure unless there were constant police checks going down.
There are always undeniable signs when things do go hot, the closing down of Embassies for one. Mabey the Russians will make a move because strategically they were being forced to do so. NATO has no reason to surround Russia and China with missiles this is provocative, which means Russia and China would have to do the same to America with subs probably. and it means that at some time something has got to give. Morale is so low in the west we have to be bullied not a great sign for fighting a war to make rich men richer.
