Strange Object In Sky Maryland.

Just seen this. Any ideas ?

The video is very short on information.

I find the lightsource underneath more interesting...regular intervals.

It doesn't appear to be moving at all.

My only guess is a cloud, but does seem to be an odd shape for a cloud.

Swamp gas?

I would like to see the full video, kind of hard to believe he would only film 5 seconds and turn off the video while the object is still there

I am going with cloud.
It doesn’t appear to move.
Video is extremely short.
Poor evidence of anything other than a stray cloud, imo.

Maryland, dusk sets in at around 17:00 (16:46 to be exact).

Weather yesterday was:

Passing clouds.
Humidity:46%
Barometer:1016 mbar
NW
Wind:16 km/h

That kind of rules out aerosol cloud being stationary for so long. Any other cloud/smoke for that matter as well...

Starlings wouldn't be that stationary...

Maybe the flashing is part of the control system for whatever we are seeing?

I don't support the logic of "UFO of real concern" = record for 5 seconds.

Clouds can literally be any shape imaginable.

I agree with some other posters that it seems rather odd to only record it for such a short time.

Clouds can look all kinds of weird.
Link to a photo that I took one afternoon in PA. No aircraft in sight.

I wonder if it's one of those small blimps/balloons like the kind you see advertising a new housing development

Especially clouds around dawn and dusk...
