Health chief acknowledges downward trend ‘stopped a little,’ but says ‘no need to sow panic’; over 50% of cases said to be among kids; vaccinations for 6-11-year-olds start Tuesday
After the coronavirus reproduction rate (R-number) hit 1 in the morning for the first time since early September, Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said the sustained decline in infections since Israel’s fourth wave peaked has “stopped a little” in recent days, but insisted morbidity was not rising again. Horowitz told the Kan public broadcaster that most new infections were among the unvaccinated, and attributed the rise in the R-number — which measures the number of new cases resulting from each infection — to Israelis who were lax in following the government’s COVID rules.

I think its most new reported/recorded infections were of the unvaccinated. the vaccinated most likely don't even know they got it, and sure, they can spread it.

Here come's the blaming of the un vaccinated continues in Israel despite being 88.7% vaccinated of the country’s population.
Despite the booster shots they still blame the un vaccinated.
The top Israeli officials three months ago said this would be with us and our lives in waves.. Just like other countries Israel is now planning to vaccinate as they state the new cases are among the children.
There are those in Israel who still believe that only un vaccinated can spread the virus but not the vaccinated.
Top health officials say unvaccinated are driving new rise in COVID infections

Isn't it the over 80s and vaxxed in Israel, and the rest being the unvaxxed?
Israel is a pretty bad example as its a hot-spot for these kind of things at the best of times due to close poorly ventilated living conditions, the use of AC, and a reliance on public transport.

Yes, but the hit the same wall as the US and EU, and couldn't get past it.
The stats are similar in the US and eu as well, the people who are getting hammered are the unvaxxed and vaxxed seniors. The shot has reduced covid to mild flu for most people. Many are asymptomatic and aren't particularly contagious. Maybe for 3 days instead of the old 7 or 8.
Israel is doing really well the media is just hyping thing to generate clicks.
