We have lost yet another " great " from the world of music.

Graeme Edge, drummer with the pioneering progresive rock band " The Moody Blues " has passed away.

The Moodies recorded what are known as " The Magnificent 7 Albums " between 1967-72, which included many iconic songs, such as below.

R.I.P. Greame, and thank you for the music.

And of course.

Whenever I see a Moody Blues thread, I know who did it without looking. If you aren't the Moody Blues #1 fan, I wouldn't want to meet the person who is.

Nothing wrong with that, though. They are without a doubt one of the all time greatest. I could listen to Your Wildest Dreams and Tuesday Afternoon once a day for the rest of my life and not get tired of them. It was the kind of music that you heard with your soul as well as your ears.

I join you in thanking them for their timeless music.

Did Moody Blues even have a drummer? I've never understood how anyone could consider them on par with Zep, Floyd, or any great band of the time.

They bore the hell out of me, but I love rock and roll so there lies the issue.

Nights in White Satin? Good God man. It sounds like suicide to me.

What a waste of talent. RIP

Not everyone shares your taste in music, there not a pop group or spewing nursery rhymes and calling it music.a reply to: REDMORGAN
