I thought all Walmart's were being prepped to be turned into FEMA camps.

maybe that is why my local Walmart is not affected.
I live outside a large navy research base, and they have plenty of room to set up a fema camp there.
Plus since it's a federal military base it comes under federal laws and the state can not interfere.

Many conspiracy theories around both Jade Helm and Walmart were in abundance esp. here on ATS, but no one connected the two.

Plenty of people tried to connect the two, you’re not the first. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Because honorable discharge means both eligible for recall at any time and still licensed to carry a weapon. Dishonorable, not so much.

You seem woefully misinformed about military discharges but go off I guess.

Over 700,000 Americans dead from Covid and people don’t have a clue why shelves are becoming empty

this means that most people don’t realize that those are the same people that do the grunt work

Except Walmart isn’t doing layaway this year.

Like CT"s have a tendency to do you sort of cherry picked the data with this one.

" Walmart has officially gotten rid of its traditional layaway service ahead of the 2021 holiday shopping season, replacing it with a new buy-now-pay-later option via Affirm. The retailer is advertising this financing service as "an alternative to layaway," so customers can pay over time and set a paced amount of their choosing. "

I went to my nearest Walmart like I said I would. The shelves were surprisingly empty, unlike at the Fred Meyer down the street, which has just about everything fully stocked. I'm going with this being some kind of Walmart issue. What's going on? I don't know. Maybe they assume it is a waste of time to stock items that have significantly gone up in price.

That’s right, all those 90yr olds with emphysema Wallmart hires to stack their shelves and various other grunt work really backfired on them.

Every year, around this time, Walmarts the nation over bring shipping containers in to the parking lots to use as extra storage for products that they do not have enough room for in the backroom or on the salesfloor. It's just an overflow I believe. I shop at one near daily, so I've seen most of what you're seeing firsthand.

At least some of the Walmart's in Tucson and south are having very few outdoors magazines lately. I talked to Customer Service and a manager. No help, as a matter of fact they said they 'couldn't' help. I asked for the periodical distributor and was told they 'wouldn't' help. I went around them and found out the distributor was SAS Retail Services in California ([email protected], [email protected]). Repeated contacts have gone nowhere.
Additionally Fry's, our local food store, has drastically cut outdoor magazines. According to former employees and a current employee, it was because a liberal person was complaning.
