Kind man adopts and raises a special-needs turtle

This turtle was born with an exposed heart. There was a hole in her shell. A thin membrane of clear tissue barely covered her heart. I would think that her chances for surviving were slim.

This nice guy made a homey habitat for her, took great care of her, and fed her by hand. It does the heart good to know that there are people like Mike in the world.

Nice story. Too bad we can do this with the homeless. Feed them with tongs that is…..

Of course she knows who is responsible for her food and care.

If fish can figure it out, a turtle for darn sure can. And I know from experience that fish know.

I have a special needs dog.
