Well it was not that long ago some states were allowing children to be married to the likes of 40 year old men.

en.wikipedia.org...

How the hell is that ANYTHING like a few hours a week of work?? Methinks the Land of 16 Year Olds Can Legally Have a Warm Pint With Some Grub At The Pub might be having one too many of 'em.

It's not, its way worse.

Or was way worse.

Where "between 2000 and 2015, over 200,000 minors were legally married in the United States, or roughly six children per thousand. The vast majority of child marriages in the U.S. were between a minor girl and an adult man."

Considering a lifetime of servitude and abuse equates to a lot more than a few hours work.

Hell would certainly seem to cover that kind of horrendous child abuse all the same.

But facts are facts and those speak for themselves.

At least, to my knowledge they are not doing so any longer in most states, so there is that.

Yeah so the whole Marxism argument falls through, regarding Wisconsin. Unless you're calling the Republican legislature in Wisconsin Marxists.

It's been a 'one party system', although that changed a lot under Trump.

It didn't really change under TFG. He just played everyone for his own interests and pursuits of autocracy, and idiots cheered and fell for it.

I worked six days a week, three to four hours a day starting at age 11.

Paper Route.

At that age, it's not up to the kids. Parents have the final say.
