Costa Rica for sure for me. A home on the beach with pasture to raise cattle and some rainforest. Playa Matapalo would be first choice. There is a great beach break for my Husband to surf- we named it Hawaii 5.0

My current home is not bad at all; have a 180 degree lake view overlooking a state park; 7 private lake front parks. So I’m good either way.

I have, being a poor kid in 1980's Scotland has given me all the experience i need of freezing my ass off. Immunity or not i'm not wilfully freezing my balls off for anyone.

If the option is there i'm a steaming hot shower and curl up next to a fire type these days.

When i go fishing tho i'm always the stupid one who strips down and dives in for a swim no matter the temperature.

Right? Such a beautiful landscape, they'll give you free land, they pay you annually from oil derivatives, almost un-invadable landscape, natural protection, freedom, seclusion, healthy living.

I'll take the mosquitos...Better than that pink crap they spray to kill said mosquitos down here in the states

You know ... I like my life the way it is for the most part. I wouldn't mind moving into a slightly nicer house. It doesn't even have to be larger by much although a second bath would be nice. I like what I'm doing and who I'm around almost all the time.

I could think of a paradise type situation, but it really doesn't exist. I just want to be left alone mainly, and you just don't get that in life.

I have a little 50s tract home near a beach in so. Ca. talk about obscene price.

I miss sitting by the river. There is a Hopi bathtub / hotspring near Taos, that Id bet isnt as private as it used to be. Maybe it runs cold now, as has happened when a spring gets too popular, and becomes just another place to party. Things change.

If I could move right this moment I'd go to the toilet.......

.....too late!

Anyhoooo, if money was not an issue I'd return to my old hometown.
Funny thing is, being a youngster, you think that small town life is boring and you wish you lived elsewhere. Then as you grow up and move around and live in some crappy, awful places because of work, you suddenly appreciate what a pleasant and decent place that small town was.

Of course, I would also seek vengeance on the school bullies now I'm big n ugly, if they're still around. Haha.

I used one of my nine lives in Lake Erie.
Swimming with cousins in that filthy lake.
I slipped quickly into a deep area, It took me by surprise and I’m a weak swimmer, I clawed my poor cousin and he brought me back up choking half to death.
Super scary. Never looked at that body of water the same since.

But YES Lake Erie would count as Cold as heck!
