The cabal really must be panicking now they are doing everything to control the narrative. How's that for a free society, the FBI requested that it be kept secret. But f them. So we know who is in control of the FBI now thanks for the clarification as if we did not know already. This is too little too late to stop the truth bombs coming out of Veritas. Back in 2020 some salacious details came out about Biden but were Russian dossier-level of unbelievable ideas. Supposedly, and I'm not very up to snuff on the topic so I welcome correction, his 40yo daughter had a diary in which she listed some crazy things. One of them was showering with her father when she was 15yo. Quite the scandal.

Apparently, and again I welcome correction, Project Veritas had possession of the actual diary!

If Biden sent the FBI to grab that diary, which I guess was handed over, then that is itself a scandal.

From what I've read, Veritas was given the diary, but turned it into police without publishing it. Another outlet gave it to them and did publish the contents, so it makes no sense for the FBI to go after Veritas.
It's political revenge, nothing more.

They’re not going after Project Veritas as an organization. The FBI searched the homes of two writers who have contributed to Veritas over the years because they suspect they, as individuals, were involved in the theft of the diary in the first place. I’ve said this before; publishing stuff is not a crime but stealing stuff is. The FBI is investigating how and why the theft occurred.

Also, this investigation started a year ago under Bill Barr, so probably not political revenge.

Is this the order of activity?

A woman reports her laptop stolen

A political action group publishes private information from that laptop indicating that they were in posession of that laptop.

Law enforcement exercises legal investigation into the possibility that those who published information from that lap top were the thieves that stole it.

Is that the order of how this is happening?

That is not what happened. Project Veritas never stole anything. In fact, they tried returning it to her attorneys. They eventually handed it over to law enforcement. Once does not do that if they actually stole it.

Project Veritas did not publish the handwritten diary, as O'Keefe said in a video released Friday that the group could not confirm the authenticity of the diary, its belonging to Ashley Biden or that the contents of the diary were truthful.

The diary was obtained by Project Veritas just a week before the 2020 Presidential Election, and later published by a right-wing website days before America went to the polls. It says it obtained the diary from a 'tipster' who'd obtained it after staying in a location that Ashley Biden had previously visited.

O'Keefe said Friday that Project Veritas had been offered the diary by tipsters who said that the then-Democratic candidate's daughter left it in a room where she stayed and the tipsters stayed after she departed. O'Keefe said that the tipsters said they were shopping it around to other outlets to see who would offer money for it.

O'Keefe then claimed that once they got hold of the journal, they attempted to return it to an attorney representing Ashley. The attorney refused to authenticate the diary, so he said they then turned it into law enforcement.
