Wow so it is possible. I was always under the impression that once governemnt enacts some thing that it is staying for good. Unbelievable victory here. Maybe there is hope here for us here in America. I wonder if people are more united there in Quebec against mandatory vaccination then we are here in America.

globalnews.ca...

There statement in why they decided to drop the mandate was common sense and logical. (Something I don;t understand why we are not grasping here) is that the loss of staff would cause a hardship.

Your response to a pandemic is to let go of healtcare workers, first responders, police officers, firefighters. I think it was the ehad of the NYC fire department who said this but when you call 911 are you asking for a first responders vaccination status or do you just want some one to come and help you?

Normally stupid can’t be fixed, but sometimes stupid can be a little less stupid.
I think this is one of those times.

It's still nonsense. Unvaccinated will have to get tested 3 times a week while the vaccinated will be free to spread covid. Why is it ok for the vaccinated to spread covid? Is it somehow better if you catch the virus from a vaccinated person?

While you are of course correct, it is still a move in the right direction.

My Fire Department is over 1,000 sworn in public servants, and a conservative estimate would be 90% of us told them exactly where they can stick the vaccine (and it isn’t in us).

Now our chief is from up north and beside himself that we don’t want the vaccine. He’s hinted at it, and made a sh!ty comment or two, but he knows how horribly it would go.

All these hospital employees need to create an association (not a union), make their position known, and stick together. It’s the only way to avoid this BS.

The vaccinated's bodies are still making and shedding protein spikes. That's a big concern. Unvaccinated are getting blood clots from being around them. My buddy was in the hospital yesterday with a clot in his leg. He doesnt have covid, and is nonvaxxed. Its the vaccinated doing it.

They have hit their target for vaccinations in the sector, and the unvaccinated workers must still get three COVID-19 tests a week, or risk losing their jobs.

Also, none of the directives (like lockdowns, masking, social distancing, and vaccination campaigns) used to fight the pandemic were ever permanent. They were in response to the health emergency.

You lose your rights, it is permanent.
They can do it as they like.

Wow.

I'm impressed that something like this could happen. I'm glad rational minds are beginning to take a look at what's happening and stop listening to the hysterical nutjobs that have held people hostage for so long.

The article says nothing of the sort..

Quebec is backtracking on its enforced COVID-19 vaccination mandate for health-care workers, government officials announced Wednesday.

After pushing back its deadline multiple times, Health Minister Christian Dubé said the province will abandon the measure altogether, as the health-care network can’t afford to lose the thousands of non-vaccinated employees.

The loss of unvaccinated staff would have had a “devastating effect on the system,” according to the health ministry.

While 97 per cent of those who work in the heath network are vaccinated, 14,000 haven’t received a first dose, and of those, 5,000 are in direct contact with patients.

Yeah it did,

“Unvaccinated staff will be obliged to get tested for COVID three times a week, and those who don’t comply will be suspended without pay.”

They are going to make it a real pain in the rear for the unvaxed.

We aren't shedding spike proteins, but we are spreading the virus, and we will likely produce something nastier for the unvaccinated.

From what I understand, Pfizer does make a small amount of IgA which can prevent catching and spreading, but the amount is too small and lasts too short, about a month before it's gone, so indeed vaccinated people are very good at spreading virus because of little symptoms due to the fact Pfizer makes a lot of IgG which suppresses symptoms.

If "even the health workers" cannot be forced to get jabbed, then neither can John Q. Public !!

We MAY be seeing the start of the death of the Globalist Covid/great reset agenda

Quit making sense, we live in a time when being able to think is an evil thing.

Give it time

I was referring to directives that they had met their quotas for vaccinations in that sector, That's complete BS, they wanted 100% and are not requiring it because 14,000 haven't got 2 doses, and 5000 of those are in direct contact. Must not be too dangerous, 5000 people can come in contact with dozens a day. There was nothing in the article about reaching quotas.

As for the testing, remember I said this it won't last through the first or second round of boosters at the most.

Of course they will initially try and get tests a likely face-saving measure but let's see how long that lasts. LOL once booster season kicks in nobody will be able to keep up with who is vaxxed and who isn't after 6 months. It will turn into one big cluster ----.
