I'm thinking the earth shifted. I wonder of the rails are twisted, bent, or otherwise curved in an odd fashion. It does line up with all the volcanoes erupting all at once.

Seismic stretch wouldn't produce the typical earth shaking earthquake. Just let me know if the rails are bent out of shape. Is all I am asking. There have been multiple earth-moving things happening as of late.
Nepal building collapse, sink holes everywhere, the volcanoes erupting.

Hard to tell, from this perspective, no. But, what does it look like in the tunnel, and just what object was hit that derailed the train knocking out the signaling?
