You know why I love ATS?
It's not the real world. Not even the real Internet.
We try to talk here about why things are as they are. What we think. Not just l'ook how I can shake my heini!'

I don't think it's because we're all ugly.
It's because we think.
Or try to.
I think it's good we don't know and most don't really care who we are in real life.
We still build relationships. Those are real. The good and the bad.
I mostly assume I'm wrong. And I most likely am. It doesn't matter.
You're still you. You're still the person in my head. And for a lot of people you're a lot of different you.
Is there One who is 'more real'?
Which one? They're all you and they're all real.
There's a Many Worlds for you.
In the head of every aware being that sees you and the world is proof of it.

'Oh no that's just the mind! That's not real!' Is that your answer?
But it's you. You just denied your existence.
What we know about the universe is only in our mind.
It's only a translation our brain makes for the frequencies we're tuned to perceive.
The universe herself is a lot bigger. And what's up with Black Holes?
We don't know what is out there and maybe everywhere we can't see.
How does that make you feel?
Can you accept a logical conflict?
People always want their pet theory to be proven with the big hits, right?

Consciousness.
What a dirty word!
I'd be cool with it.
I'm just afraid of the people screaming 'It's the Devil!'
Imagine in a world where your thoughts create reality, what you're doing... seriously.
That doesn't mean you can't explore all the theories out there. But you guys are prolific.
Chill a little. At least balance yourself.
Like soap and acid. Be neutral.

On the example of Crowley, he grew up in a very religious household.
Where too much acid creates more acid if no soap comes in.
We all need a little soap for the soul.

I'm an old soul, indigo, light warrior, Star Child, intuitive empath.
Sometimes I wish it weren't so, but we all have our crosses to bear.

Ummm...precisely...we all have many...aspects...if you will...

The ego is a powerful one...as is the empath...and the predator...then there's the nurturer...the contrarian...etc...

That's why..."becoming one"...or balance...is the aim of spiritual pursuits...where it's healthy to acknowledge that all of the diffuse personality aspects are part of a whole mind...and allowing any one of them to reign over the others is unhealthy and unbalanced...

"If you encounter the Buddha...kill the Buddha"...

In other words...if you think you've attained enlightenment...these are thoughts...thinking...

Ultimately...the objective is to silence them all...to pay them no heed...

This is accomplished by at first..."thinking...not thinking...then ultimately to attain no thought...

Thoughts are the voice of the aspect...the void...empty of thought...quiescent...is where true Gnosis/Enlightenment resides...

Thanks for the reminder, I wanted to change it.

I obviously am the strongest me in my I.
It's like cassettes getting worse with every record.
The echo gets weaker.
Can't play the lead in every bit.
Obviously. But a weak copy of me lives in your memory.
And that of everybody who reads it.
What if that's the portal for magic.
The equivalent of gravity in meme-verse.
That's the first impression everybody who observes us sees.

ATS...well that's a little more complicated. I've come to appreciate it as a last bastion of reasonably free speech. I had to lower my standards a bit but by golly "reasonably free speech" is all we've got left. Remember when outstanding members here were getting banned right & left?

Lastly, I agree Peeps, we are a good family. Dysfunction is a given when the topic is "family" heh. But even if I don't particularly like you, I probably love you and feel your pain when you share it with us.

And I know I can count on that from y'all too.

The only person I know that uses that silly Woo, is it you? If it is I want to pull you up on a few of your "educated predictions".
1. You said Biden would be thrown out after Trumps proves election fraud. That was in July 2021.
2.You said the American economy would crash through the floor in the middle of September. That was in August 2021.
3. You said the "death jabbed people" would all die in the middle of October. That was in September 2021. But then you changed the song by saying mass die off in 2022.
Need I go on.
