Not sure what is going on.
Again I believe you are correct.
But the argument made there by Paul that the God of Israel is the Universal God is no more true than the Romans making the same case for Jupiter with Hercules as his only begotten Son, these are only aspects of the Divine, Israel had nothing comparable to some aspects of Hinduism with regards to Universal principles only the petty tribal with pretentions of grandeur.
1 Peter 2:13-15 - Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme, or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men (NKJV)

The individual guidance in the Old Testament is intended for Israelites
I will surely bless you, and I will multiply your descendants like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the gates of their enemies. 18And through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
Genesis 22: 17-18
that in the New Testament for the House of Israel, of course Saint Paul extends that to the Gentiles but that's controversial as to whether intended.
My point is that a God of Israel was only ever intended to serve that tribal interest in terms of what they were for and what they were against, and that was as a collective against all other peoples, religions and cultures, the positive aspects are towards maintaining that collective.
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.
Deuteronomy 7: 9
I think you were correct in the principles you would like to invoke and appreciate your sentiments
that's an angry jealous and destructive God with expansionist ambitions, it was never that there aren't other Gods he just hates them, as one might expect.
God presides in the divine assembly;
He renders judgment among the gods:
“How long will you judge unjustly
and show partiality to the wicked?
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless;
uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.
Rescue the weak and needy;
save them from the hand of the wicked.
They do not know or understand;
they wander in the darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
I have said, ‘You are gods;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
But like mortals you will die,
and like rulers you will fall.”
Arise, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are Your inheritance.
Psalm 82
Just then a hand touched me and lifted me, still trembling, to my hands and knees. And the man said to me, “Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you.” When he said this to me, I stood up, still trembling. Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to come.”

But the argument made there by Paul that the God of Israel is the Universal God is no more true than the Romans making the same case for Jupiter with Hercules as his only begotten Son, these are only aspects of the Divine, (Fly's emphasis) ~ Israel had nothing comparable to some aspects of Hinduism with regards to Universal principles only the petty tribal with pretentions of grandeur.
Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me — or at least believe on account of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.…
John 14: 12
”The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life..”
John 10: 10
“I know men; and I tell you that Jesus Christ is not a man. Superficial minds see a resemblance between Christ & the founders of empires, and the gods of other religions. That resemblance does not exist. There is between Christianity & whatever other religions the distance of infinity”
“I know men; and I tell you that Jesus Christ is no mere man. Between Him and every person in the world there is no possible term of comparison. Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I have founded empires. But on what did we rest the creations of our genius? Upon force. Jesus Christ founded His empire upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for him ..”
The word of Ištar of Arbela to Esarhaddon, king of Assyria:
Come, gods, my fathers and brothers, enter the covenant . . .She placed a slice . of bread on the terrace and gave them water from a cooler to drink. She filled a flagon of one seah with water from the cooler and gave it to them with the words:
"In your hearts say, 'Ištar is slight,' and you will go to your cities and districts, eat your bread and forget this covenant.
But when you drink from this water, you will remember me and keep this covenant which I have made *"
And through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed
Of course, as a people, the Jews had a special sense of their collectivism, in light of their unique & remarkable, miraculous history as a nation, and the missions they had been given as imperatives to be fulfilled in return for God's covenant of love & devotion.
Was Napoleon a freemason? Historians do not have a document that could confirm this, but many undeniable facts prove the extreme closeness of Napoleon to Freemasonry. Moreover, it was thanks to Napoleonб Freemasonry spread in Europe and became a mass phenomenon. He turned Freemasonry from a secret society, as it used to be, into almost an official state religion, uniting all the French lodges around the Grand Orient.

The first significant inroad made by Freemasonry into the heart of the Church was the appointment of the influential Cardinal Rampolla as Secretary of State. Ordained in 1866, Mariano Rampolla was made a bishop by Pope Leo XIII and appointed Apostolic Nuncio of Spain in 1882 for five years.
