Many of us post for the lurkers, especially when it becomes clear that you have said all you can say about a subject, you are not adding any new material, and everyone knows what you are going to say in your post, before they even read it.

The only reason to post past that point, is for the possible new soul that has tripped on to the site, or the lurkers that sit outside the echo chamber.

I do not believe this is an echo chamber, you know why? I don’t like Trump (I don’t like Biden either).
Although there are a few passionate very right people on here, I truly think all view points are welcomed.
I think you have to be able to fight for what you believe. You have to accept some people won’t agree with it.
I have not been censored one time for my political views. I did get my favorite post of all time shut down though, it was phallic earrings. It was a funny, cool, lighthearted post, and they just zapped it away. I’m still a little salty about that.

I was lurking for two or three years before signing up. It got frustrating knowing something that others were wondering about, so I took the plunge and joined. This place gave me inspiration to keep up my research, someone would mention something and I would spend a week sometimes researching the subject to find the whole story. By then the original thread had gotten buried so I decided to do more research in advance so I could comment on the medical and metabolic issues people were talking about without having to wait so long before commenting.

I also did that with a lot of subjects, but I have researched medicine and nutrition the most. If I had never joined I would not have did nearly as much research I did.

Just took this opportunity to say one of my favorite things, i like this because of two reasons, 1. it makes people angry because their brains are trying really hard to ignore what they are about to feed them through the eyes.

2. it drives UFO people absolutely nuts.

Hallucinations are real. They are not figments of our imagination. Reality is just another hallucination. Language is not an effective way to communicate.

It's also perfectly okay to be anonymous and passively observe without getting dragged into unrewarding internet drama. I question my own participation often.

I have no idea how long I looked here before I got a screen name. 10 years? I read this forum like a book, all forums. If it's neat, I'll read more. If it isn't, I won't. No need for scribbles all over. More than half of all the replies here are just scribbles. And I'm a grump.

I've been on ats for probably 7 years at this point. I would have to verify that, if my profile lists the date I joined.

I had actually found this site while doing research on another topic, if I recall correctly it was something with "The Remeum" mausoleum in Fairfax Virginia, near where I lived at the time.

I believe I just lurked on the site for a while until I came across a thread about a nazi bunker that was allegedly haunted, with the 2 lowest levels being flooded only able to access by divers. That was the first thread I jumped in.

New from Canada, scared of the nonsense going on. Planning to make sustainable living/food/power... but because of my vax status I fear I may not be allowed to do things that humans are allowed to do. And I like long walks through the woods
