Did you miss the part where i said none yet.

Why do you imagine he is engaging or employing sex crime lawyers if not to defend him?

Same fellow that represented the likes of Jeffrey Epstein.

If he had sex with underaged children, throw the book at him.

But exactly what has he been charged with? What committee has he been kicked off of? How about house committee ethics review? Home arrest? Bond hearing? Found guilty in what court of law?

Yes, the innuendo game is old.

I'm sure they are intimidating everyone who stands against them. The bravest will be left standing, and I pray their supporters will not abandon them.

It is the level of corruption that allows them to do this to anyone. The bravest will be left standing only if they are able to expose and defeat it.

Did anyone else hear all the fear in his voice? Did anyone see him quaking in his Gucci's? Note how he cringed behind the podium?

I think that if someone wanted him dead, he'd be dead.

He might be setting up for a snow job. Making the announcement, then someone mysteriously makes an attempt on his life, but to no avail, then he gets to put all the blame on the department of justice for not taking him seriously. Then he can get on the Trump ticket in 24 as a sympathy vote. ''Our Brave Hero''

Did I just make that up? Yup. Sure did. Did he? It sure smells like it to me.

Prosecutors allege Podlesnik was much more straightforward with his voicemail to Gaetz.

"I'm not going to [expletive] ask you why you [expletive] think you should be killed, I'm just going to [expletive] put two in your head," Podlesnik said in a voicemail to Gaetz, according to court filings.

In a DOJ release, Acting US Attorney Bob Murray reiterated that freedom of speech laws do not cover threats of violence.

So this isn't the first time that Gaetz is reported to have had threats on his life. And not the first time other Republicans have had threats on them either as he states in his speech.

So right here we know that the DOJ does take seriously threats made to him and Republican politicians.

I'm no lawyer but the two ''threats'' appear to be different in scope. One, this one I pointed out appears to be a direct threat while the twitter one might be an indirect threat. ''Portland put out a hit on you. I accepted the contract''

There was no direct threat made here, maybe just indirect. It was also stated that there was enough surveillance of this twitter user that it is known that he made a trip to DC following the twitter. So likely it was deemed that there was no real threat by this person.

But Gaetz would make a political deal about it. Notice how he claims that DOJ ignores threats to him and other Republicans? We already know that this is not true. But notice as well, the two Democrat names he came up with as hypothetical of when DOJ would act. Both are women and both are women of color. Out of the hundreds of Democrat names he might have used as examples here, he chose two women of color.

It's more likely you are mocking him because you don't care if he is killed, says a lot about your own soul and it's destiny.

I am mocking him because he is a whiny little boy playing with big time power, not because I don't care if he is killed. That is an awfully huge assumption on your part, likely made because of the fate you hope awaits my soul.

If someone kills him, he'll have the perfect opportunity to say, "Told you so".

Wait, what?

Right, because it hasn't been open season on certain politicians. I'm willing to bet you thought James Hodgkinson was just duck hunting.

This country has turned into a cesspool. And I'm also willing to bet you can't properly smell that either.

I don't know who James Hodgkinson is or was. And yes, this country has turned into a cesspool, I can smell it. How is it you cannot smell the stench emanating off of Gaetz?

Sir, we are all saddled with bias. I'll deal with mine as best I can and only hope that you manage the same with your own.

It's a good point of course and most politicians would reside in that
runaway fool category. No street smarts or good instincts just highly
educated and doomed outside their bubble.

Now you are getting it my friend.

Hard to take anybody seriously who can't conduct a 3-second Google search.

I bet you don't know who David Amess is either.

Hah, that's a fat one. First one would have to have any interest in conducting that search. Then one would have to ''trust'' a google search. Haven't we heard enough about the ''evil Google'' around here? Then one would have to pay any credence to an anonymous internet poster like yourself to even bother. I didn't so, I didn't. Even then it would certainly have taken more than three seconds.

And David Amess? Here let me trust Google for a minute. Oh, I see, he is a British politician according to Wikipedia. Does is murder have anything to do with Gaetz? Even then the first three news outlets in that search were from CNN, BBC, and Guardian, all non-trustworthy news outlets according to the American right?

So wanna drop few more names on me? Let me do your bidding for you rather than you attempting to explain how either Amess or that other cat is associated with this Gaetz thing?

Yes he should be proactive in his personal security.
However, the DOJ should do it's damn job. Threatening a representatives life is a federal felony. That man should have been arrested as soon as he arrived in DC. If he lived in Portland, threatened Rep Gaetz's life then traveled to DC what would the DOJ think he came to DC for, share ice cream with"Brandon". But Gaetz is correct if this was a socialist that was threatened they would be in solitary confinement by now.

The Department of Justice refuses to arrest the man which Gaetz says is trying to kill him.

That's a good thing. If the cops had to arrest anyone i accused of trying to kill me than I could accuse anyone couldn't I?
I could accuse you.

It depends on the details. As he said, if it was a Democrat, an arrest certainly would have been made.

Do you know how many threats AOC gets against her on a daily basis? I don't see any of those people getting arrested. So your strawman falls apart under even the most casual of examination.

Well, If the DOJ refused to arrest him then that means they knew who he was.
If they knew who he was then that means that Rep Gaetz told them and had to show evidence of a specific threat.
There is ZERO doubt that if the threat were against a socialist and arrest would have been made and solitary confinement would ensue!
