Since the birth of the auto industry, few companies have been as disruptive as Tesla. Since Tesla released its first electric vehicle more than a decade ago, the auto industry has never been the same. The EV industry has come to life over the past few years and is now entering the mainstream, thanks to Tesla's commitment to a fossil fuel-free future. While Tesla continues to roll out some of the best electric vehicles ever, many consumers are still unconvinced of the company's greatness. The fact that Tesla has been at a loss for most of its existence also leads many to believe it is overblown.
