Here's some gorgeous music combing the depths of grief and hope all in one. Added to the John Hopkins psilocybin music research playlist, Henryk Gorecki's "Symphony No. 3" is an hour's investment worth making. It's a soaring and sublime masterpiece.

One of my favorite melancholy pieces.

The thing that first introduced me to it back in the 90s was the song "Gorecki," by Lamb, which sampled the main melody or chord progression from the third movement (I think).

To this day, I put on Gorecki's third when I feel really depressed and just want escape to a soundscape of exquisite, soothing dark beauty.

Truly haunting and beautiful.

Hey, Liquesence, good to see you!

I'll check out the song you mentioned in a few minutes. It sounds like it's right up my alley.

Glad you enjoyed it.
I just listened to it again after an extremely long time. Gets pretty intense.
