Nothing much to say...

I had a moment of hysteria which has now been replaced by a mom ent of calm.

Holy history lesson Batman. People need to look up the Hindenburg disaster to see why this is a very bad idea.

Plenty of people around the world have natural gas piped into their homes to heat them and provide domestic hot water.
Natural gas has no odor.

Hydrogen has combustion byproducts of.... water.

Natural gas has combustion byproducts of water and carbon dioxide.

Your title is a bit misleading. Hydrogen gas in an industrial setting is not a fusion bomb. Below is a link to a paper comparing hydrogen (H2) to liquified natural gas (LNG) as a marine fuel. Both LNG and propane have the rotten egg smell added to them, I suppose the same could be done with H2.

The process to extract H2 from water is very straight forward and well understood, making it very abundant.

Do you know what will happen if one home blows up and all other homes in that street/block/area have Hydrogen Boilers??

A chain reaction will occur!

Less than what would happen with natural gas.
Natural gas has a btu value of 1,030 per cubic foot.
Hydrogen has a btu value of 325 per cubic foot.

Natural gas is more dangerous.

I am not sure where you are getting the chain reaction stuff.

I probably wont be around when this stuff happens but I would eat my hat If I'm wrong.

You might want to research nuclear weapons and how they work.

If they work the way you seem to believe that they do, wouldn't Lakehurst, NJ have been reduced to a crater after the Hindenburg burned?
Watch the film of the Hindenburg going up in flames. There was no real explosion. It burned rather slowly compared to an explosion.

YouTube: The Hindenburg Disaster (it is only 5 minutes long.)

Even says in the link I provided:

Safety concerns: Hydrogen is highly flammable and could cause an explosion if not installed correctly.

And i will check that youtube link in the next hour

FFS, are you really confusing fissile material with bottled hydrogen?

It doesn't naturally have an odor but for homes they put mercaptan in it. Smells like rotten eggs

The outer surface fabric of the Hindenburg was painted with rocket fuel. It was a mix very close to the solid rocket fuel in the space shuttle boosters. There is a very rare color film of that desaster that proves hydrogen was just a contributing factor and not the main fuel of that fire. Hydrogen burns almost invisably and those flames were a very bright color.

Also as far as a hydrogen chain reaction, where are you going to get the atomic bomb to set the H bomb off. That is the dumbest thing I have read today.

Hudrogen scarry. It is used in the H bomb so it must be very dangerous stuff.

If hydrogen worked like that, why did we make any other explosives? There would be no atomic bombs.

Yes, I am aware of that.
My point was that an odorant like methyl mercaptan could be added to hydrogen to provide the same warning in case of a leak.

Looking forward to getting my own home hydrogen setup so I can build a bomb and play Global Thermonuclear War with all my neighbors.
