Is it possible that Aliens abandon their subjects study once the subject becomes no longer a pure specimen?

By that I mean, that a person who pollutes their own body with drugs and alcohol has damaged the cells chemistry of their body…..And so being damaged goods as such, Aliens, cease all communication and contact.

It makes sense that Aliens studying humans would want untainted people to study….not one who has compromising toxins in their bodies that may error their testing results, hence discontinue furthering abductions.

So it would be 1986 with minus mark when abductions ended.. VHS camera was invented 1984, it was very costly at the time.. not many had them...

The OP says they ended when they were in there 20's but doesn't specify an actual age, they say they witnessed an event in 1996 here??

To answer your question: There is one reason I remember, and it wasn't hypnotic regression, it was an event that happened on August 20, 1996. The story told in full would take me all day, and I'm happy to do that, but I'll give you the short version here. At about 6:00 pm I had gotten out of work and gone over to my parents house for a cookout in the backyard, a beautiful sunny late afternoon. A flying saucer appeared slowly over our house

They also say

I don't remember any abductions since my early 20s, not for me, but I've seen them take family members for a long time after that.

This is a really great question.
It's hard to say. When I first saw them approach from a distance, one time when I was about 8 or 9, I heard a buzzing sound, and their 'voice' sounded a little electronic, but that was from a distance of maybe 50 yards. At first it sounded like the voice of a street crossing sign, the ones that say "walk now..walk now..don't walk.." My family members said they hear a normal voice speaking words just like us, although quite loud and clear in your head. But sometimes I heard more than one meaning at the same time, like I was getting the meaning rather than specific vocabulary. That time as they approached across my backyard in the daytime, I swear I could hear more. For example, as they were walking up to the house, and they could see me looking at them through the dining room picture window, when they said to me "Stay Calm" it 'sounded' like "Stay calm/do not panic" in the same thought. And "stay where you are/do not run" and "You won't be harmed/you will be alright". "Remain quiet/do not scream". I could 'hear' both meanings at the same time, similar but different.

But for the most part it seems like just one voice speaking very clean English. Like a narrator, or someone reading a book on tape. A voice with a little resonance but still soft. With gravitas but not aggressive. Definitely masculine, but smart and smooth. Not emotional, but certainly not robotic or unfeeling. Professional, academic.

If I had to pin it down to one voice...let me think...I'd go with Jon Hamm. Also maybe George Clooney. I know it sounds pretty ridiculous, but the whole goddamn thing is absurd, unfortunately, real. Mostly the tall greys I'm talking about. They've done more talking to me that the short greys.

I'd put it like this, when you go to the doctor's office, the short greys are like the ones that check you in, show you to the room, take your vitals, that sort of thing. They're always really busy. And then the tall greys are the doctor that comes in eventually and talks to you seriously. The tall greys are serious, no nonsense. Solemn. Often frightening. They're the boss over the short greys. The short grey wear emotions a little more frequently. They've been kind. They've been annoyed, or grumpy, or harried. They've been playful sometimes. They're been frightening sometimes, angry. The tall grey are always cool and controlled, if they have emotions they really don't show them. The short greys are always on a tight schedule. Always. You hear them ask each other "Do we have time for this one?" "We'll never get this done in time" "Hurry it up, we're falling behind", that kind of thing. They're very concerned to stick to the schedule.

They have different voices, too, all of them.

Exactly, thank you. But that wasn't the main factor in me not trying to play "Gotcha". They make you forget you were abducted. I didn't know. They close those memories off and don't let you access them between abductions. I have no doubt that most people who are being abducted don't know it, and may never know it, they are good at doing this and getting away with it, because they are smarter than we are.

I said early in this thread that if it were not for one incident on August 20th, 1996, where I witnessed them but was not under their control at all, I wasn't their target - I never would have known I'm an abductee, and my family member feels the same way. If not for me interrupting them, that family member would have been made to forget, and neither of us would know what had been happening to us.

The troll boys on this thread are so sad and desperate, they chose to ignore what I'd already clearly stated. There are no holes in my story because it isn't a story.

And you bet your ass from 1996 on I went public, made a lot of noise about it, MUFON, NUFORC, Intruders Foundation, I was interviewed on local news, CBS News Overnight, our case discussed on CNN, and more. VICE.TV contacted me out of the blue two months ago about being in a series they're doing on the paranormal. I'm doing zoom meetings with the casting agent (and she is way hot) and one of the producers, they want to come to my town and film me walking around the sites of the abductions and recounting them. I'm on the fence about doing it. If my book was done it would be great, but I'm not sure I can trust them to do a quality show, the episode after alien abductions is 'Hollow Earth Theory", so it doesn't seem like a series that will have a lot of real information. It's actually a hard decision. And I've got my career to consider. It's a tough call.

I remember when my family bought our 1st VCR VHS recorder it was $600 and weighed about 20 pounds and the remote control was a cord you stretched across the living room and only had play, stop and a pause button. My commodore 64 computer back then cost $300 and the floppy disk drive the same $300. Electronics were very expensive back then. And minimum wage was $3.25 an hour.

I take it you are familiar with the case?.
Does Travis's story fit well with your own experiences?.

Personally, I feel it's the most compelling of abduction cases as there were so many individual witnesses with no real skin in any game. Even though they never saw the actual abduction they all swear they saw the craft itself.

But you asked twice, I owe you a response.
It is only my opinion, but it seems pretty unimpeachable, simply for the reasons you state. So many witnesses, law enforcement, this seems like a hell of a case to me. His experiences on the ship are a different story, but the circumstances of his abduction were so unusual that it may have changed what happened on the ship.

You bet I believe them.

Eff off, kid. I have an extremely public career in the arts that has enabled me to work with some of the most famous and talented people in the country for decades.

You, however, seem pretty likely to have failed to establish a career, you're certainly not a homeowner, and there are likely emotional or developmental problems.
