of all the space missions that i have read about or seen on television, i hope for a safe flight and a safer landing.

OK,he's a bit on the chubby side,but I would consider it a win to be at that level of health at his age.

Dissaponted he's not wearing his star trek uniform though.

What if he looks out the window and sees a gremlin on the wing?

For what it's worth, I'm a tad misty-eyed. I don't think there's a Trekkie around who isn't a teeny bit moved by the whole "full circle" aspect of art (the show) & real life (Shatner going up for real) merging in such a way. None of us ever thought we'd see this #, Captain Kirk's going way, way up there
