I'd never even heard of the Chemical Brothers, but this video kept popping up in a feed of mine. I finally clicked through to watch it. It's kind of a fascinating music video, and I think this is because of what it symbolizes to me.

We are, IMO, in the throes of the final push for implementing a trans-humanist narrative on the population of planet Earth. It will have to happen in stages. This is what happens in the video. Body part by body part, the dancer's physical form is replaced by a shell, which would represent the replacement of our humanity with technology.

Maybe I'm fishing. Maybe I'm - as someone told me once - just an esoteric conspiracy theorist. Or maybe they really do like to give hints to those who have ears to hear.

They did another similar vid with robots/AI in a warehouse:

But I liked their earlier music better.
I saw them live a couple of times when they were just getting big in the 90s,used to love their first album "Exit planet dust"
This is a good track from it:

They rocked at Glastonbury in the dance tent!
They were trip hop pioneers for a while.
another good one:

I don't know if they are pro transhumansm or they just like robots, but sadly there is a push towards that kind of insanity by some seriously powerful and evil "people"

'They' never give hints to those who want to hear.
Hints only are given to those who listen and react.
It's called communication.
Maybe there's a bigger picture just there because that's what making music is: a form of communication. And you're probably just right about this one. 'They' them or the Chemical Brothers are communicating a message inspired by that idea.
Where did they get the idea of making this video and why? How? Who inspired them with what?

They've done a couple of weird videos. Can't post on my phone but you might like to look for "Hey boy, Hey girl" and see what you think of that one.

They've been around for years and people rave about them.
I'm not a fan. Can take or leave them but I have a white label bootleg of Sashas mix of "Out of control" on vinyl which goes down a storm on a dance floor. The CD version sounded flat and hollow but the vinyl one is their only good tune IMHO.

Daft Punk made a strange movie about being robots trying to become human and going on a strange adventure which also has a weird vibe to it but that could be me seeing something that's not intentionally there. It's called Electroma.

More those video ideas are more often than not not the bands own idea.

Funny enough a Vinyl rip was the only version available on Spotify for a long time. Alot of old-skool stuff on there are/were vinyl rips for some weird reason rather than the cd versions - scratches, pop's n' all.

This version that on Spotify now sounds pretty damn good and has retained alot of the "rawness" / distortion of the vinyl (theres around 6 versions and this sounds the best in my opinion).

open.spotify.com...

My feelings on their videos is that they all seem to deal with stripping away the layers that make us see each other in negative ways. Peel away those layers, the fancy clothing, the skin color, the expressions, the attitude and we all dance the same way, move the same way, party the same way ... we're human and when it comes to having a good time should not be divided by perception based on the visual aspects of our limited brains.

Two other examples:

Block Rockin' Beats

Escape Velocity

Notice in Hey Boy Hey Girl how she gets into the very same cab the Chemicals' get out of when they arrive at a gig. No Limo's, no Entourage

Essentially they are back to basics, classless clubbing advocates, at least thats how I see it.

It's vinyl every time for me.

Trying not to stray off topic but lots of techno has a sort of sci-fi/ futuristic theme to it but as it's instrumental (mostly) there's no lyrics to rely on so the music itself has to convey the feel of things. Plenty of sampled lines from sci-fi and horror movies, though.
UFOs , aliens and abduction sometimes come up and there's also record label names such as Area 51, Alien Records etc....

Jeff Mills, for example, has tunes suggestive of the theme like Something In The Sky, Man From Tomorrow and wrote a new soundtrack for Metropolis.

Not quite transhumanist (yet) but I recently saw Carl Cox doing an advert for some kind of Virtual Clubbing type experience which I imagine would be terrible compared to a hot and sweaty real life event. I guess the younger crowd might think it would be immersive or something like that but I'm old and grumpy and don't go out much these days so who knows?
