Are the 2 above mentioned people dead and the clubs they represent just spending all their money?

Serious question.

This could actually happen with many people who have loads of money!

The media just show old photos of these people enjoying life etc... just to pretend they are still alive. Same could be said of Bill Gates... even Bezos went in to Space earlier this year, maybe they've killed him off too whilst up there...

Most of the billionaire class the wealth is not that easy to spend being coupled to physical assets and stocks and their families inherit it. Their money managers also make a lot of coin, millions. Many of them also are donating much of their wealth like Buffet, Soros, Gates so those charities and foundations would start asking questions.

I have wondered though what happened to Eppstein's 500M. He tried to give it to Gates but he declined. It's also unclear how Epstein even earned his wealth. Nobody really knows or what happened to it after he died. The story kinda died after Gates refused to take it from what I gather.
