I just had this thought about the recent police action against protestors, as well as everyday joes.

Along with the numerous videos of police brutality, like the poor sole who was body slammed head first into a concrete, along with many other videos.

I see these videos as a warning by the Andrews gubment that they don’t care.

The reason they don’t care any more for basic human rights and having such massive numbers of the riot squads as well as many, many more armed officers on the street is not to control the public.

It’s all for asset protection, the assets that stealthily are owned by the Chinese.

Why else would this be when dan sold Victoria out under the belt and road initiative, that allowed the Chinese a free for all to buy up Victoria.

Why is Victoria the only state to launch the riot squad as well as ability to fire upon citizens, attempt to control air traffic over Melbourne cbd to restrict the freedom of press, disabling news choppers over the city.

Plus to restrict what we see on the tv, sound familiar?

Overturned by a sensible judge: amp.9news.com.au...

I have seen protests in other states, though I haven’t seen the riot squad, police horses, armoured vehicles, police firing ball bags...lol.

Rubber bullets upon its citizens, the footage I see is not that dissimilar to the Hong kong riots.

This is to protect Chinese investment.

Victoria is the state/county/perfecture (?) which includes the city of Melbourne in the southern tip of Australia. It is south of New South Wales which includes the capital city of Sydney.

And that Andrews prick won't be going away any time soon...there's a housing shortage here in the north from so many people trying to escape that sh#thole. Which means that most of the people who stay are probably dan fans....

I see... so, the OP makes the statement the tough policemen in that Australian province are punching and hitting people in order to protect the Chinese investments, while at the same time only two days ago Australia bought some nuclear submarines from the US to deploy them in South China Sea...

A strange way to protect China's interests...

That was a federal decision...the Andrews government likes to rule Vic like it was a completely different country.

I would advise caution on confusing the two issues.

That sub deal smells rotten all the way from down under to here in Colorado! Probably just the US looking for a new place to dispose of some of their reactor cores. And the Outback would be the perfect place to do it too! Things aren't always what they seem.

Australia has a unique political system, we have the federal government responsible for tax collection and the distribution of gst and funding for health and community services.

As well as many other essential services that need to be maintained at a federal level.

Each seperate state has the ability to manage their own major projects, and are able to build infrastructure, that is not influenced by the federal government.

Though recently the federal government has torn up the belt and road initiative.

The decision to purchase nuclear powered submarines was made at the federal level. There was no input by the states.

The federal government recognise chinas trade benefits, though from what has happened, its as though they are aiming to sever ties with China.

I'm lost with Australia's policy then. My understanding is the government of another province was leasing the Port of Darwin to a Chinese company only some 3 years ago. So, do people of Australia perceive China as a threat or not? Or is it that Australia is on sale?

Love me some Aussie slang! Some of that stuff still cracks me up fully 25 years after working there for several months.

Absolutely loved Australia...(except for the gun thing, and now the whacko government thing).

Definitely loved me some VB!!!

It’s odd property sales, prices are going nuts in Victoria, it a rare beast.

Considering no one is working.

I wouldn’t be surprised due to recent changes to foreign investment in Australia. Chinese cartels aren’t using people as intermediaries to buy property on their behalf, by citizens.

It’s the only thing that makes sense.

Sadly he won’t go away,

I thought the Chinese were not allowed to take their money out of the country recently?

"Capsicum" was one that always got me. I never got used to that one. I mean, I get it, but that word just means something entirely different in North America.
