Major blackout in China yesterday

Traffic backed up for miles, stop signals all out, apartments blacked out , not telephone service ( it may have been restored today. Not sure what happened, didn't get the tail end of the news.

Going by the tv news of the above statements . Total blackout. The comments are the only thing I could find. I guess China censored the Chinese news regarding this.

No , yesterday on todays TYS new tv Japan. What time it started, I don't know, but it pretty much showed the whole city blacken out. The freeway way jammed with cars miles long at night time.

but the only thing I could find on Baidu is what I posted and what I saw on the early afternoon news here.
I checked TYS news to see if I could find anything in English, not yet any way.

ccp is censoring news of this pretty effectively.

Lol at the energy companies being honest and telling the people "Your electricity will be going out until spring NEXT YEAR", only for the CCP to come along and "hippidy hoppidy your words are our property" and boom, the statement is erased.

To be fair, this is comiong to the UK as well, our energy secretary told us not to worry, this means we should worry.

Not to long ago someone posted a video of a Russian kid who was said to predict the future. In the video the kid goes on to claim a hole will open up somewhere in China all the way to the planet core and would be highly radioactive. Not only would the CCP try to cover it up but alot of critters were suppose to come out and eat us as well.

There actually already is one, but it's not in China. It's in far north eastern Russia. It doesn't go down to the core of the earth though, but it does go down to some kind of discovery. What exactly it is, I have no idea, but whatever it is is so ​utterly fantastical that if the outside world were to ever know of it, it would change life as we know it on this planet. That much is certain.

Nine years ago, it was my very 1st post here on ATS. And, I'd been studying it for 10 years before that.

All the major governments of the world must know of it, and must be collaborating to keep it from the public eye. I don't think it's alien in nature or anything like that. My suspicion is, it has to do with money. It's the only thing in the world which could silence the entire planet. Something so unimaginable it would devastate the World economy overnight.

No monsters are going to come out of this hole and start eating people, but the consequence of whatever this is very well could have people eating each other.

The quest continues.

ETA - I've even made contact with people in the region, and it's definitely real. Unfortunately, my Russian skills are so poor I wasn't able to fully understand what a couple of people were telling me beyond that it is definitely a forbidden area and it is not a military installation (at least not a traditional one). It's not small either. As I recall, at one point I estimated it to be about 11-12km wide by about 45km long.

This better not effect the Chinese stocks I'm holding that keep going down. Seems like nothing but negative need coming out if China for the past couple of months.

China has a world of issues coming to a head, lotta folks have been waiting for the real estate bubble to burst, looks like the CCP is going to re-assert the iron glove right before it hits the fan, would be ironic in my opinion if they also had some infrastructure issues.

That BBC news article link was still there and it was a pretty good article. Makes me wonder where China gets most of it's coal? That could be important information me thinks.

Do you know if was more spontaneous or not. I have read stories about holes like these but probably nothing. Marianas trench is the deepest hole in the world. Nothing really special about it...meh. I did read that if a nuke was tamped down there it could in theory break this rock but not sure if true. Getting anything down there like that also damn near impossible. We have sent small probes so maybe? Who knows. What's the worse that could happen. We all die likely a quick death if the atmosphere is compromised or drown from a massive wave. Not really a bad way to go. Minutes maybe. The fear though, that part would suck.

To be fair, at least under Darkseid China would be in a better position, and the people there would be treated better. After all Darkseid "IS", while China isn't.

At what point will the world finally report that China is broke, as in no money to function as a state anymore?
