Seeking spiritual guidance?

Does anyone know where I can consult a Shaaman or a Spiritual healer in London England?

Half a fear of becoming possesed and would like to consult a trustworthy person... preferably a Shaaman, they're cool.

SO you just want to see a SHAMAN because your scared of becmoning obbesesed.

Urgh, so many mis-interpretations on the internet... do I have to go through some newbie process of not being taken seriously for ages before being generally accepted or something? Was hoping this site wasn't like that to be honest.

I want to seek a shaaman cause I'm Jamaican/African, and they're cool which has nothing to do with me thinking I'm possesed... I doubt I am although it has crossed my mind before. I have a fear of seeking spiritual guidance only to end up becoming possesed because of the amount of tales I've heard from chirstian peoples in Jamaica and Africa. Other than that I'd rather seek one cause they're more in touch with me and where I'm from.

That and most don't need or ask for money, you pay them if you want.

Sorry, no help from me on locating a Shaaman, but I think possession is much rarer than some would have you believe. Good luck on your hunt, though!

It wouldn't be the same over the internet would it? That and I've revealed too much about myself already to do it the way i wanted. When I find a healer I'm just going to sit there and let them do the work... if they're good then they'll know where I'm coming from and can help from there, otherwise I'd not say a word until they've made a decent diagnosis.

There are a few shaamans in London but the pictures I've seen of them scare me off not about to end up a victim of possesion. My uncle goes to a church where the lay hands on people and speak in toungues which is enough for me, it was scary watching people pass out like that.

Yeah, Shaamans are north American and african, carribean, and south american I think. A Native american Shaaman consultancy would be too cool for words but theres not many in England... not any in England more than likely.

Asking on here cause it'd be best knowing of a healer who I can ask about and what not.

Shaman can not automatically read minds or people..
some can sense energy flow thru the body, or can see auras... but to assume that a Shaman can help you just by looking at you is hoping for a lucky strike...

I have seen some very powerful ones... and they still needed to ask a few questions, due to the individuals nature and belief structure...
In other words... Shaman can work within many beliefs... but if they address an illness or mental weakness without knowing what beliefs that person has then they can cause more harm than good...
spiritual medicine is in the eye of the beholder but the casting of it, is in the hand of the translater... wow that was deep... i will have to reread that later...

Hmmm, thats the trouble a bit tough checking them out really. There are ones that belong to a group of healers or something but otherwise I wouldn't even expect a shaaman to be listed in a directory or to have attended a school that I can check up on. Its mostly heratige (sp) passed down through generations or given sort of thing. Then again I'm probably wrong.

You say you want spiritual guidance. Get a Bible if you don't already have one then read it starting and focusing mainly in the New Testament. If you don't have one there are places that will give you one. You wanna just sit there so you can sit while you read it.

God, the real God, doesn't want your money, He just wants you.

A master shaman is what you want.I would start learning about the chakra centers in the body.These are energy centers in the human body.When these centers are out of sync they can affect you deeply.Start cleaning them out daily and pulling in positive energy into these centers for healing.Each chakra center has a certain color you should pull energy into.I would look into this that way you can learn to heal yourself.

Just don't go to a voodo doctor in London, England. You never know about the Voodo doctors there. Remember the case in 1999 where the human trafficker murdered one of his traffickee's in order to create a voodo ritual? After that I'd be leary of any voodo doctors. The arrested person still hasn't revealed the Voodo doctors that helped him. Be cautious....

The Bible is all well and good, especially the new testiment...but it wont do much for blocked energy flows...(chakra study will though. also studies of Chi and Reiki.)

the bible could help your connection to spirit perhaps... is it a connection to spirit that you crave? or a cleansing of the "energy body"?

Shaman will smudge you and purify you with smoke... which you can do yourself (or better, with a friend). go by some wild sage from a herb market, bind it into a stick form., and light one end. You don't want fire, just smoke... fan the smoke over your body...starting from the feet and and go up... do the head last. while doing so, visualize the smoke clearing any darkness from your body. in effect "scaring" it away.
then it is always good to do the same throughout your house...including corners... then open the windows and let the fresh air in.

then grab yourself a good book, and relax... if you happen to take the other mentioners advice... try the bible... but look up the sermon on the mount, that one always gets me...

Not religious so much anymore i'm in the process of breaking down the whole good and evil thing. I enjoy being spiritual could never understand why everything to do with the spirit is deemed evil in the bible... if it is then I've been evil many times over and so are homosexuals who must go through hell trying to be religious.

My energy is all messed up chakras clogged, but what I thought would be cool would be to sit and chat with a Shaaman or a healers/psycic of the like and actually get to know them kinda like seeing a GP seeking consultancy and what not through times of need and such... the first session wouldn't involve me speaking though I'd just walk in and sit there ignoring their questions, prehaps smiling on occasion when the situation demands.

MPs are getting too clever malnipulating the lack of community in areas and bringing in new laws that should never be allowed. Compulsory ID cards in a 'free' country? The tools are there to help you for now friend...change your scene, and look into more spiritual areas. one more word of advice...stay away from books that are on either extreme end of the religious spectrum. start in the middle and work your way out. There is only one creator... you can divide it into symbols all you want but the essence is still there. All spiritual disciplines are connected. they all have fundamental similarities... these are the universal truths... buddha, the great spirit, God, Allah, Diana, polythiesm, doesn't matter where you start... lessons are there. Seek the universal truths, and enrich your understanding of spirit.

When having problems with concepts of good and evil, start at the bottom and work up. Meaning become "grounded" as they say. Being nice to people is good, stealing is bad, murder is bad. Killing for ones country is difficult, so don't go there right off the bat. Stay simple, work hard ,and be nice to folks that will always help you.
I will not answers all of your questions, but it is a very safe place to start.
Second, the bibles definition of evil means the death of a sinner. Meaning that if one stays apart from the nature of God, and dies in that state, that is the goal of evil. All of the rules in the bible are to show us Gods nature and ways, so we can be like him in our actions. Sin is when we behave in some way that is different than him, so we separate ourselves from him. Thus we need to be rejoined, the first part of rejoining is call repentance, or turning back to God.

You mentioned homosexuals, this is different that Gods design or nature so it causes a separation, most of them are in a sort of hell, the suicide rate is over 65%, the highest of any group. It is an action, which causes departure from God, just like, stealing, fornication, envy, and the rest. We all sin; repenting is goal, not judgment.

God created homosexual animals (mallard ducks for one example), so i think it natural that he created homosexual people also...
I also have 2 gay cats if anyone wants them...matched pair, very loving... to a good home...
