Saw this on a mates post on footbase.. faceboot... that thing, and thought I'd share it.

It's not my style, not into rap. but the lyrics are on point. And I remember Tom being hounded by social media for one of his songs a few months ago..

Tom is more murica than most actual Americans and he's from canada! I drunkenly got a similar tattoo of his, it says 'see you tomorrow', on my arm lol.

Edit.. It's right between a half sleeve on my arm that is very detailed that says 'a piece of my heart lives in heaven'. On a nice canvas with a Sparrow and heart and banner.

Every so often I am heartened by things like this. I believe it is important for people with a talent or platform to interject reality. We are ever lacking reality in most aspects of life these days.

I actually had a disturbing discussion with a guy at my local bar tonight...
Basically he works with data bases and leads a software dev team. He says some typical kavaneugh was a rapists stuff and I question him. He whips out his copy of the constitution and proceeds to ask me if I know it. I say yes I'm old enough to have been taught it in school. So he wants to quiz me...and asks what a random article is and then says i don't know it cause I cant line for line read it. Its at this point I ask...without rereading it can you quote it...answer is no. Ok so now I got the level we are playing on. So I ask well hey are you innocent before guilty or guilty before innocent...he responds very affirmatively the latter.

At this I had to go smoke and walk away we were going to be done with that argument...or I was going to cause a scene in my local watering hole which is rude and I'd like to avoid.

Eventually I come back and listen as a top casino property marketing director and this database software guy proceed to discuss just what and how much AI can do with your data. From a video feed you can get a persons vitals...even tell when a woman is pregnant. When you hear about AI running simulations in the millions or billions of iterations...it takes fractions of seconds or at most maybe seconds for long run sets. I mentioned china and how google basically stopped perusing facial recog tech. Off handedly I joked that's because china already sorted it...he agreed!

These are the type of folks and capabilities they have with your data...and honestly there was more just don't care to type out from our 3-4hr bar chat.

even if we keep our heads down, they know who we are. I have a bajillion names on the internet, yet got a personal message from a youtube guy, asking about recent comments. irked me. all for the safety of the community, you know.. He stopped responding... but now I watch my back there twice as much.

I kept seeing him pop up in FB too in the videos section. Finally, I was like, ok this # must be decent with all the views and stuff. Then I listened as was pretty damn impressed.

Oh ok I never heard of Dax before. My previous post was referencing Tom. I listened to the Joker song and I like it. Very powerful messages. You can feel it.

MacDonald has gone a different route, producing completely independently. He can say what he wants to say.

I like hip hop. But its been hard to justify over the last 5 years or so... this is refreshing.

Do you all like all his SJW songs too? I don't know, seems a bit like propaganda to me. This guy is playing both sides, and fans somehow do not realize this. I started liking him when he dissed Mac Lethal, which imo is one of the best beef tracks in history. But after listening to more, I noticed his bars were full of simple lines and he struggles in the rhythm and flow department. Independent or not I consider the Tom/Nova brand as bubble gum pop music, It's like listening to spice girls to me.

I don't really hear that as anti US though... There are a lot of deaths due to gun violence in the US.

More a cry for help about how and why...

I dunno, not my pony. But he has a loud and noticeable voice for inclusion, I think.

Tom used to have prescription addiction issues and his music was 100% different back then. The last couple of years is when he's turned stuff around. People can change, right?

Also he used to be a semi/pro wrestler in Canada. Not sure about the level he "competed" on, but yeah.
